TC65 Nurburgring

Yes! Pole position and second place at the end! Managed to make my fastest lap ever on this track on the qualifying. Started well but Mike and Tom get through. At the pit entrance someone hit me from behind and made a chain reaction so Tom ended off the track. Me and Mike had a fight through all the race but I couldn't attack him, I was not that faster, if so.

Congrats to Mike, it was the best fight ever for me. Congrats also to Tom who made it to the podium at the end.

I jumped in with 3 minutes left in qualifying, went out on track with a default setup, and qualified 3rd! I was pretty happy with that. The start was good for me, I got up to 2nd, but only to get drilled up the tailpipe at the top of the hill (I don't know who did that...) I was driving the wheels off my Alfa to catch back up, and thanks to some traffic I was able to catch Borut. I got by and drove off to finish by myself, Mike and Gasper were way off in the distance.

Congrats to Mike and Gasper, I wish I could have been up there for a 3 way fight ;)

Struggled around in the little Abarth. Looking to save my credit points for more interesting circuits. Good fun driving around though.

It feels good to finally secure my first win with R2P/NASA Sim Racing. I felt good with my qualifing effort, but came up just a bit short to Gasper who pulled out a better lap towards the end of the session.

I had a fantastic launch getting to P1 by T1. Gasper pressured me from lap 1 all the way till the end. I must have looked in my mirror 50 times. Fortunately, I kept my nose clean and the car under me. I was also fortunate the lapped traffic moved aside to allow Gasper and I to battle. Thanks guys.

Qualifying:
Qualified 7th, so that wasn't too bad. I had some high 48, but it didn't materialize.

Race:
Menage to gain 2 places on the start, and 2 more when there was some accident at the end of lap 1. So there I was, 3rd in Abarth. That was fun.

Dropped to 5th by the end of the race. Decent performance and race.

I missed this race because I stayed up last night to practice for it ;p Slept over by 10 minutes or so, oh well.

Well.. just my 2nd race on GTL with Race2Play and another really enjoyable even. Picked the Mustang as i want to save the points for the 76 races as i MUST pick a capri (if you see my page would'll know why). Definatly a track for the small light weight car, so was very happy to stick the Mustang on the Grid in 8th place, kept my head and didn't do anything stupid and finished 6th, Very happy with the result.
