Silverstone Grand Prix

I am really annoyed about this race. Was running really well, 7th easily with about 4 laps to go. And for the first time ever my game crashes!!! This has never happened before, and it was my best ever rFactor race. O well, better luck next time i guess.

Dunno what happened to me at this one. My car was handling like utter dog turd all day on the server. Had a very even consistent car in private practice (albeit slow) but come logging on to the server and ALL my traction disapered. Couldn't even hit the 1:24's that I'd been practically doing with my eyes closed all week!

The race was even worse... I was doing my best to keep it on the island and to avoid hitting anyone or squirreling too much out of the slower corners but I was all over the place. One memorable moment was when Chris Melton took me on the outside of Abbey Chicane!

I ended my race very early on with a spectacular crash at Copse corner that impressed even Mr McArthur!

This is turning into a crap weekend for me.

I quit when game switched to qualifying because I don't feel like driving in stuttering conditions. Was barely making laps in those conditions. Hopefully on some other tracks it will be better...

Very pissed off! My PC froze after my stop :@. Was enjoying it alot racing with Jeff and was heading towards a top 5 spot.
Dunno what caused it to freeze, happens more and more often lately and I have no idea what's causing it :(

Fun race as always, except the last couple laps. Congrats to the podium! On one of the last few laps my wheel came loose and I started going all over the track. Thought I had it back under control a couple times, and started off agian, but I was in the wrong gear and running slow up the hill, just as someone came up behind. I truely apoligize to who ever it was that hit me. I was trying to keep a lookout in my mirror for anyone so I could try to pull off somehow, but I got flusterd and didnt react in time after spotting the car. In hind site, I should have just escaped out. Really sorry for recking someone else's race.

I was a little embarrassed to almost spin on the pace lap in the slow section, as I lost 2 places. I chased Jeff and Mike around until the pit stops, and noticed the loss of downforce in the draft is pretty dramatic, now. Every time I got within about 0.6 seconds of them I got horrible understeer and had to back off. It's probably more realistic, but I don't think it will promote close racing. I managed to pass them in the pits and pull out a nice gap when I got a clear track. Congrats to Tristan and George.

Guys are fast up front. Nice job.
I'm happy being a field filler (today), glad for a top ten.
I can't do a race without a mistake that moves me back 2 to 4 spots all the time.
Sorry if I got in anyones way.
My pit strategy would be diffrent if we did this again.
1st lap , no grip at all.

Can someone explain to me if a radiator opening of 4 is enough to blow the engine? Fragile junk.

Qualy went better than expected, I never thought I had a 22 in me so with a P5 I was very happy.

Race, my race went well, had a great battle with jeffrey until his pit and then I tried to turn up the wick for a few laps to pull a gap, I think it worked, then after my pit I had 2 lazy spins in the same corner 2 laps in a row which negated anything I might of picked up, this flustered me as it came out of nowhere, I looked down and the tires were up to temp, i didn't lock them up but around she went :( My first pit stop was amazing, 8 seconds for fuel and tires, my second took 13? huh? same pit stop took nearly twice as long? Uhhh...you know that crew guy is headed to the IRL now :)

I would like to thank Omar G for putting together an exceptional game for the openwheel fans of the world!

BTW...I ran a 3 radiator and no kablamo, if you over rev, run boost 2 too much...DONE.
