Mid Ohio Grand Prix

I don't think this was the best track for me to spend my first race in these cars. The lack of traction control makes me have to think first before applying any throttle...even a tiny nudge on the throttle before the apex of turn 1 and there's almost no stopping it from spinning around.

I made the mistake of going with red scrubs for qual, then black sticker for race...the error wasn't the choice but the fact that I tried blasting through lap 1 expecting to get the same grip and creased the wall. Then just before stint 1 was up I totally damaged the front end at the last turn and had to park it because I would have been a hazard trying to make it all the way around the track to the pits.

I think it will be fun to continue though. See you all at Road America!

i missed the race by 10 minutes, got held up while i was out :(

I was having issues getting the server and I requested the IP address, but lost 12 mins. of practice time...Things were not looking good since then..So I qualified 12th *evil time*...1'06'666 and I guess it was a pointer of the bad luck I was having...lol...Good start by everyone, few people went off track and I gained 7 positions up to 5th...Then I spun, so does Brunell right behind me, I waited for a few cars to pass and I turned around close to the curb, WRONG CHOICE!!!, The car got caught in it and my engine burned trying to get out of it!...

Wow, Great Race guys!

I felt real good for this one. We ran here last season and I had a good run and now with 1.4 physics I just love these cars. I get so much more feel for the car even though I don’t use FFB. OH yeah and having Cataract surgery Thursday morning I think helped. Everyone should run out and have it done right away :-)

There were only 2 things that concerned me before this race. My eye is still really red and irritated and it twitches I think from the trauma to the muscle.

The other thing was what was this race gonna be like if you are being pushed and come up on lap traffic. Thankfully I didn’t have to worry about the later. I saw Tristan go wide thru Turn one and knew his cars pushed off from my wake.
Then I knew all I had to do was just run consistent and just finish.

Congrats Steve and Aubrey with 2nd and 3rd place finish. Nice job Tristan working your way back up to 4th. You kept the point diff to a min.

Not a very good first race for me in this series and in R2P.

I didnt had many time to practice but i managed to improve my lap times from 1:7 to 1:4s in practice, so i started in P5, better than i expected.

But in turn 1 the cold tires and the dirty air surpriced me and i went off track and rejoined at the back of the field. I started to gain positions until i spined and broke my rear wing and suspension. Went for repairs and after that i accidentally touched another car in the last turn (my apologies for that) and the car was so damaged that i just retired.

I hope to do better next time, congrats to the podium.

Crazy race! I had two big accidents in qualifying, which meant I had to settle for 10th place. But in T1 I immediately went from 10th to 4th with a whole slew of cars sliding off there. Had a little battle with Brian going for a while, but I couldn't get very close because of the draft. The rest of the race was just avoiding lapped cars. There was a yellow flag almost every lap. I let Tristan through to unlap himself towards the end. I almost regretted it, thinking he might go all the way around and pass me again!
