good race, had a top 5 setup. ran up front the whole race with no mishaps. get down to the backstretch on 2nd to last lap, and make a move on 5th and 4th. I had the position and 5th came down, hit me and sent me flying. very very aggravating :/

I just wanted to survive so I didn't push it and when I did I roasted my tires. Safely avoided the spinners and sliders as well. Good race JdP and CS we were close after every pitstop. I thought I was slick staying out at the last yellow but obviously not I just got in the way hah

Sorry Ron C for hitting you during the first pitstop, just too close and reckless. Hope that small damage didn't cause your future problems.

Had a good car maybe top 10 checked up for spin and spun myself and someone hit me dead on broke sup. it was over well thats racen get em next week.

Went to school today, both in driving and penalties!!!

Went into the pits when they were closed (that's what that little X thing was on my screen - LoL)
Then there was this funny double red arrow thingy which I figured go to pits for penalty. Well I stopped at my pit and got the complete deluxe treatment by my pit crew, but red arrows still there... hmmm...
Went around again and this time just drove thru pit lane - arrows gone! Whee
Boy, this SC stuff sure is complicated.
Another problem I had is every stop had a further delay to do repairs that weren't needed. How do you tell your crew not to do repairs???

Then there was the little incident with only a couple laps to go...

I'm happily battling with my old nemesis, Jim Barisoff, when out of nowhere comes this missile right across our bows nailing me right into the wall. Then a helpless Jim B. comes sliding across the track giving me a second good wallop just for good measure!!! LoL

Well, I'm glad to be able to include some real good pictorial action for your amusement.

That was a real blast and can hardly wait for the next one!

Oh, Larry, you are definitely not TST material in the Stock Car division, congrats on your terrific 4th place.

I was also quite proud after weaving through some real nasty multi-car wrecks - had my heart in my mouth! LoL
I've never experianced this kind of action in any other form of sim racing - totally different attitude about stock cars now!

We need a 2 spin rule. I watched the replay and seen the SAME person SELF spin 5-6 times. That's ridiculous. You shouldn't even have to be asked to park it after that many self spins. You should want to just out of courtesy for the people who actually take time to practice for these events , or at least want to park it out of embarrassment. I know this is just for fun but I thought R2P was supposed to be a little bit more of a professional atmosphere. I don't see the point in allowing somebody to continue when they are having that many problems controlling there car.

Thanks for the compliment Dan. I had a fourth place car tonight. I was challenged several times but it always found it`s way back to fourth. Outstanding job by the Goulds Pumps Team. Great win for Tom. Toni had a good qualifying run, too bad it was downhill after that. I had a blast. Thanks everyone.

damnit, i completly missed my alarm :(. shame because i practiced all week with Tom and thought i had a good chance at getting a top 3 :(

Practice and some late advice from Tim payed off! I did just about every adjustment to the dampers as I could think of. But something I didn't try up until last night was adding air to the right rear. I added air about every other stop. But on my last stop I put in a full 1/2 lb and then she was on rails. Wish I tried that in the middle of the race. I did get lucky at the end with a self spin in T2 trying to close on the car in front of me, then something else on track happened making a yellow come out keeping me on the lead lap. Made that last adjustment and went after Joe as hard as I could, but I just couldn't get it done. Great to see ya finish with me Joe! Grats to all.

Congrats Tom on the win. You were the MAN tonight. No matter what I changed during the pit stops, couldnt get any faster. After the long green run we had, I realized that 2nd was the best it was going to get. Even when I would beat Tom out of the pits. With Jeremy running strong in P3, almost lost that. Happy to finish P2 :)
There were two simular situations that happened within the last few laps of the race with different results. (1)is the first two screenshots posted. (2)is with Jeremy and myself on the last lap. Jeremy was the one on the low side making the pass on me for P2. When we approached the slower car Jeremy had to make a decision, set a pick and use that car to block me to advance his position and risk an accident or let off the throttle knowing that I WAS coming down to protect mine. He decided to let off the throttle and allow the room. If it wasnt for the slower car, he would of taken P2. I thanked him for his decision because it would of ended in disaster! I am not accusing anyone of making the wrong choice, just pointing out the different decisions that were made in simular situations with different results.

EDIT: Dan welcome to our world..lol. while the pit display window is active select up one on the menu. There you will have a choice to repair all, repair body, or do not repair. This decision must be made before you hit your pit stall and cannot be cancelled once the repairs are taken place. If you receive additional damage after that pit stop, you will have to make the choice again. If there is no damage selection then you do not have damage. I know that sounds obvious but its not a permanent choice like changing tires or wedge.
