Joesville Shootout

I have to say I was having a most excellent race until I got pushed completely through the turn by one of the leaders,who did'nt get off the throttle at all and pushed his way through me. Which incidentally may have saved my butt since I slid to an easy stop on the apron and was able to stay in the top 10.

Got back into 5th spot but got too far down on the apron, spun myself and had to pit .

Somehow I managed to get back into 11th spot, and was seriously looking at a top 10 when I got caught up in the fray with a resulting pinball action scene. Made it out alive - others were not so lucky .

Actually, even though I ended up in 14th spot, I thought I raced really well. Just a couple of bad luck incidents happenning around me plus one good self spin resulting in a slow re-entry into the race and that was it. If I had not been wrecked 3x by other, both slower and faster cars near and after mid-race, I would easily have pulled off a top10 maybe a top5.
I'm not complaining, that's part of the Stock Car action, and I know I've done my share of getting into other people at bad times, even as recently as last weekend at the touring car challenge. I know I had an unsafe re-entry once tonight -Very Sorry to whoever that was!!! - and got tapped from the rear. Hope I didn't give you any damage!

I hope you guys noticed I have been practicing. I hope it shows in my habits and predictability. If any one has any suggestions, please feel free to let me know.

your doing better Don.was a great race for me.everyone gave me plenty of room.Kirill was running a good race but really overdriving the car. ya gotta manage those tires thats why I was just driving at a slow pace. yes i coulda gone alot faster but tires would have been gone before 50 laps. gotta set a good pace and be smooth
