Bugger! Looks like an in-coming phone call served to get me disco'd! :( Rats!

The race is still on I would expect. Very pleased to cop P2 in qualifying. :) Not pleased to get a hip-check from Joco in T1 of L1 to cost me a place nor have Enis nudge me at the far chicane. That ultimately got me crossed up to cost me two slots and almost three as Ali tried a dive-bomb into my side door.

I expect that the Event Steward will have a few words to say to some after this one and it's high time for Joco to have a little trip round the back of the woodshed seeing as how he had Enis off in T1. Tsk, tsk...

Qualified first, but than I tottaly messed up the standing start... Over 3 drivers passed me, and in next two turs I hardly got to 2nd pos. The 911s were extremely fast on the straights, thats why Enis passed me. Next thing was the pits. I took it a bit sooner than most other drivers. Took the tires only and ran back to track. I felt on 11th place, and expected to get back to 3rd when all finished the pit stops. For some reason I was 6th at the and... Also had a very unpleasant Windows message, threw me to dektop, but could get beck...

Grats to podium!

I capitalized on all that front row chaos to get into the lead by the end of the first lap. Stretched it out pretty nice (could barely see second in the mirrors) and then I remembered I forgot to load my race setup. Had to pit for 32 laps of fuel on Lap 4!

After that I was pretty quick but kept making mistakes. A half spin into a wall, three excursions through the sand trap at the back chicane, then I spun I out Pete B. and had to wait for him. I think I made about 45 sec worth of screw ups. Definitely could have contended for P1 if I had my @#$@# together.

Still I had a blast racing Pete. He drove perfectly despite my erratic overtaking attempts. And we had a good gap over 5th so we could really focus on the fight for 3rd. Good job Pete. :)

I understand why R2P stays away from user created tracks but some of these modern tracks really blow. Chicane after chicane, curbs wider than the width of the car, almost no elevation changes, and bumpy as hell. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! :)

Donnie, I'm really sorry I pushed you a bit, although I wasn't aware of it till now, it did seem strange you ran a bit wide, just that I didn't hear anything nor it could've been seen. It's my fault as I should've counted on some netcode glitches. You have my apologies once more.

Quali:
I had really poor quali, really poor. At least 2 sec of what I should've done. Not a single good lap.

Race:
It was really hard in the opening laps. After few laps I pushed Joco tiny bit wide in T1, he didn't went off though and I waited for him to regain his position. Overtook Joco 2 times, 1st time I ended up in gravel (although I was already full car length ahead and gave enough room), 2nd time was sucessful. After that I tried to get into rythm and hunt down Borsuk but couldn't quite settle in rythm. Finally he pitted around lap 17 and I took the lead. By the time I pitted, lap 25, I had safe 52 s advantage (menaged to clear my head and get some clean laps) to have careful, slow pitstop. Exited pits around 12-13 sec ahead of Borsuk, and could slow down and relax a bit. In final laps I lost some time behind Jerry C, around 6 s, thankfully it wasn't crucial.

Good race only spoilt by my lack of skill.

Was up to 7th by T2 and down to 18th by T3 lol. Made LOADS of stupid un-forced errors. Ended in 11th I think.

Had some good racing with Paul, Bob & Jerry early on. Jerry's 906 was soooo fast on the straights, I thought the 911 was meant to be quick!

Well done winners and the back marks who let me pass so cleanly everytime I span off and overtook them again and again and again...

finally a reason for a post race for me :). had a good run tuff earned 5th spot for sure... nice racin there guys.

like Joco i felt i get a few more spots after pits.but i changed strategy from last years zolder and took fuel and tires during pit wrong move. fuel only def was the way to go,had fun chasing my way thru the field and tryin to catch Pete that last stint, much enjoyed felt like old times :) .

Had fun, close racing with Ari and Donnie in the beginning, Jerry for a bit in the middle, and Andy at the very end. Andy - sorry for taking such a hard defensive line there at the end, but last turn, last lap, racing for a top-10 finish, I'm sure you understand. Thanks for racing me clean there - if you would have gotten alongside, I would have given you the line. It was fun!

Thanks to the top-2 finishers for being patient while lapping, realizing that those of us in the middle/back had races of our own going on, and not forcing their way by. It was appreciated.

Same here Jay, i took fuel and tires. Not a good idea. Came out of pits and lost like 3 positions.

Wouldn't be Zolder if I didn't do a solo spin into turn 1. hehe. Went from 6th(i think) to like 11th. Worked way back up. Had some good racing with Andy and Bob. Then lost time in the pits taking tires.

Enis, sorry, didn't realize it was you until I finally peeked over at the splits at start/finish and saw the gap to next car. Did you have your headlights on? I couldn't really tell. I think I need to turn up my headlight detail. ;)

No worries Gary I would have done exactly the same m8.

I actually thought we had a lap left so didn't push that hard in the last sector because I intended trying to make a move on the next lap. Forgotten that I'd probably been lapped Doh! :)

Not a problem Jerry. I didn't have my headlights on, though id did flash them twice.
