Um well kinda had fun during the race then my computer decided to lock up.

Interesting race, a little slow. Learned a valuble lession, I took two tires on the last pit, and it cost me at least every position I gained. It was my fault on lap 65 or so, I had gotten into Barisoff a lap earlier after he hit the wall, my car became loose, and I lost it going into the next turn. I think I collected a couple of cars, so I'm sorry to anyone I may have hit with that one.

Bout the same thing here, car was awesome at the start. Had some erratic traffic to deal with. 2 wrecks happened in front of me, so I decided to join in the fun. That hurt the car pretty bad but it was still pretty good. Middle of the race I was pretty good, but took 2 tires on a pitstop with a trackbar change. This made the car super loose. I gave up all of the positions I had gained and was doing okay, let someone by and got stuck in the wall, leading to a self spin where Charles Tboned me.

That was the beginning of the end for me, I put 4 feel goods on it, seemed it was fine. After about 2 laps, the car got wickedly unstable. Ultimately I had another incident holding onto the car and someone spun trying to avoid me. I called it a night early, felt back because I thought I had a top 5 car, but the damage was too much to keep up with.

Live and learn, next week is a new race.

had a fun time, was involved in an accident early on but was able to rally back for 7th. thanks to the leaders for getting my lap back when one of the many cautions had come out

It was my firs Stock Car race ever.... and it was so much fun!! great to race with you guys!! I want to thank JR Sharp for all his help and advice... as I just turned my first laps today, and JR helped me to get up to speed!!! If anybody knows a forum where I can learn more set up would be great.. as I dont know much about stock cars and ovals..I am road racer..

My race was fun... I was involved in a crash on the first lap.. and damage my car.. I worked hard to get to 5th position... kept out of trouble but I had many close calls.. the biggest mistake was not racing to the finish line in the last safety car ... White passed me and ended up 5th.... I had a Blast.. thanks to admins for great event.

Congratz to the podium, I'm sure they had a lot of hairy moments getting there. ;)

I'd like to apologize to anyone who got collected in my numerous mistakes.
My biggest mistake was trying to run a setup that someone kindly shared with me, without much practice.
It felt good, but was a little looser-in than what I normally run & had less brakes too boot.
Terribly sorry about that Richard & Ron. :(

Weird race.

So many things happened that I learned from; some things happened that I could've lived without. First, though, I have to appologize to R. Kremmerer--I stepped on the clutch when it should've been the brake and bumped into you in the pits after that first caution--or was it the second? I can't remember. There were so many. I hope my happy feet didn't cost you the race.

Strange bit of irony is that I set my car up for long runs! I figured that Atlanta--or, er Georgia--would be an easy track to race. In fact it was my favorite back in my old EA Sports NASCAR Thunder 2002 days. On Teamspeak someone pondered outloud, "Why are we having so many wrecks? This was Atlanta--this is a easy track to get around."
I didn't answer, of course, but I remember thinking, maybe that is the problem. Maybe because Atlanta is so easy to get around, guys hit it hard and turn the aggression up a couple of notches! And I could see it on just about every other restart, from way back in the pack, right in front of me. I'd see two guys side-by-side going into T1 hard. The guy in the low groove would cook his tires and would slide up the track into the guy in the high groove.
I had two wrecks happen right in front of me--one I escaped, the other . . . I wasn't so lucky. But I was able to continue on.
A few laps later there was another wreck . . . there was smoke, debris, guys were spinning . . . plenty of time to watch, read, and react . . . I check-up and survey the carnage when I get punted from behind! @#$%!!
I hear someone on TS talk about how they were getting punted after cautions; not once but twice! I remember thinking, stay the hell out of that guy's, because he sounds pissed!!! But I understood how he felt. You think you've made in the clear, you exhale a little then, BOOM! You get nailed.
The thing I've learned is that a caution really isn't over until you're tucked behind the pacecar--even then you still have to stay on your toes.
At one point I ended up a lap down and had to line up at the bottom of the track for the restart and a few guys were gonna let C. Davis ahead of them in the event of another caution they would let him buy, so he could get his lap back. A few laps later there was a caution and the leaders start slowing . . . C. Davis hits it, and I'm right behind him . . . blood is in the water. If he's gonna get his lap back, I'm getting mind back too! It was beautiful! Over TS I hear the leader say, "Man, I just let the whole damn field get by me!"
My reply was, "Thanks!"
Through all the carnage and mayhem, that was my favorite moment of the race. I think I enjoyed that more than leading two laps!
Weird race.

Well this was my first race period. i was hoping to get my feet wet and stay out of the way. Things didnt go as planned at the start of the Race i spin my tires and go spinning into the grass =/ then i caused another wreck around lap 20ish, Thats when i decided to park the car.

I stayed and watched the rest of the race in hopes of picking up somethings and I think i did.

Once again im sry for any wrecks i caused and hope i didnt ruin anyones race. I was using a controller but my wheel should be here today or tomorow. Once i get it I will be practing bristol so that I dont make the same mistakes again.

First I have to thank my team. You guys put together some awesome setups and if it wasn't for you guys and the practice sessions we do I wouldn't do nearly as well. It was great racing ya at the end Mike. Like always you ran clean and hard. I appreciate that and will always do my best to race you as clean as you race me.

Ridiculous amount of cautions. I watched the replay and tried to find the reason for each yellow as I do every week. 99% where self spins. Its gonna happen everybody does it but god the cautions where bad last night.
Stock car racing isn't road racing where the field is pretty much decided by lap 1 turn 3. You cant just continually push your car until the back end steps out or you smoke the wall and come down in front of the field. Patience, you have to have them is stock car racing. Let a guy go buy and if your line and setup are good you will catch him later. With so many yellows last night at such an easy track to get around the last two races should be fun.

To many yellows...still was fun at times and was lucky to take home a 2nd place.I just wanted and needed a top 10 car last night.so taking 2nd over mike by like .005 sec was a win for me.
Very happy for you Jeremy you had a great car you and Dan so I never tryed to challenge the 2 of you.And like Jeremy said if it was not for my team I would have a lot harder of a time.Thank you guys!!That also goes out to Dan..who we have forced into working with us...LOL
Stock car racing has many many steps to it to find your way to the finnish line.But the biggest one is just that,getting to the end.No one will really remember where you finnished in a race.But what they do remember are the drivers that dont hold there line,drivers that are seen punting,drivers that cant seem to keep under control when we get a yellow.Dont over drive your cars guys,If after a few laps you see that the guy behind is faster let him go.Alot could be gained for doing that.#1 is it gets him off your bumper and you can get on to racing before you end up just taking your self out and others.I know all this is easer said then DONE but in stock car racing you need to always be thinking about making it to the finnish!
I still WELCOME all to race with these Bush cars with us because the only way to learn is to get race laps under your belt.So dont give up!But do plz drive under control!
