FBMW: Silverstone

Congrats to podium and winners of this season.

Qualy was fine according to my laptimes, no surprises and the usual loss of places at start. During the race I had some close laps with Brian and Nick until in lap 4 I managed to get the inside of T4 to Brian but slipped slightly and, being so close, I pushed him and we both spun (sorry Brian) resulting in Alan crashing into my car that was still in the middle of the track. Sorry Alan for that as well, I saw you lost your front wing.

My car had a small suspension damage but Brian and I had another lap of intense fight 'till he got by, but in that same lap he lost it in T3 so I had free way to catch David West. Trying to push him I went wide in T1 and this time I had to pit to get my steering fixed, 94 seconds that put me at the back and only could make it to 15th.

Good season this one, I hope to improve for next one. See you all there.

Damn Scott bummer man.. that was a great race and it was going to be very hard to make an attempt to get by you, but I hated to see it end like that.

We couldn't have made the finish to the champ any closer though, lol.

CRAP! Got pole, lead 19 laps then was finally caught out by that farcical curb on the outside of T1 and that was that. Me and Wyatt were gearing up for a great finish as well and it would have been great to finally have a one-on-one with him, but I blew it....

Sigh....

On paper 8 th might not seem a very good result, but believe me that was probably the best drive ive ever done.

Started well from 4th and this time the plan was just to follow Jeff and not go for any risky moves. that was going fine until lap 7 or 8 when my framerate started to drop as the cars got spread out and bottomed out at 4 FPS and stayed between that and 10 for the rest of the race. Gave it total concentration for those laps and prayed nothing went wrong upfront as i only saw myself getting 9th at best. Had to let everyone go by and just had to stay ahead of David and hoped Wyatt didn't make any mistakes. worked out in the end, but my nerves were shot to bits.

Thanks to everyone for making it a great series.

I started 5th but I lost two positions in the first two laps. I pushed hard and I managed to overtake David, Jack had some problems (what happened?) so Dave and me overtook him. We had a very great and clean battle that lasted about 10 laps, very funny!

I did a mistake when we lapped Francisco, I lost 2 seconds to Dave, but I was able to recover, so I overtook him in the last lap, but he overtook me again, and I had no chance to overtook him anymore :(

Congrats to Wyatt for winning the race, he was very fast. The accident of Scott was a pity, he was very fast too.

I think I won't run next FBMW championship, I don't like very much this mod, it's very fun, but physics are not realistic, but I'll run Mégane championship because I love touring cars, so see you at Manfield!

Edit: I didn't remember to say THANKS to Nick and all who made possible this championship, thank you very much, this championship was very good and fun.

OMG, I wanted to take a quick nap before the race to get some refreshment and...I woke up just now - slept through the whole thing :(

Grats first to Jack for the season win, damn nearly lost it at the end but one point in it! Well done.

Unlucky to Jeff who if we had convinced earlier would have won but that is the way things go.

Personally with three Sharks on the grid we decided early not to really race eachother, well, Dave and me did, Jeff was obviously on a different mission. Did not want to end up in the gravel again especially when we were thinking we would need every point possible in terms of the team.

Few decent battles early on as mentioned elsewhere, then settled into usual nose to tail job with Dave trying to concentrate on what was going on around and ahead.

Then Jack started getting his issues and we realised finishing where we were would tie up the team title, but would he last enough to remain ahead of Jeff. Yes was the answer but spent as much time looking at the timing as the track in the later stages, until realising that 40L might be cutting it a bit tight.

Had to back off over the last couple of laps, and ended up grinding to a halt just over the line with no fuel left.

Nice clean race from what I saw and enjoyable event to round off the season.

Thanks to all who have supported the series, great finish to it, even if a couple of unexpected absentees kinda settled the lower podium straight away.

Man forgot about it till it was too late, was watching footy, then on phone, then noticed the time gutted :(

Grats to the Jack and Jeff

Rubbish race for me. Was running 12th early on, looking good to end the season with a points finish. But a few laps in, a couple of cars in front got together at the end of the back straight and spun. I tried my best to avoid them, aimed for the grass, but still made hefty contact with one of them (Francisco). Result was a 106s pit stop for repairs. This left me two laps down, soon to be three, and no chance of making any progress through the field. But I kept going to mantain my record of no R2P DNFs, although it was very, very boring. I finished 16th of 18 runners.

Grats to Jack and Team Shark for the titles, and thanks also to Team Shark for providing this series for us all to enjoy.

Landmark race for me - first time I've been able to race with cars in front and still keep my line.

Early cold-tyre spin, lost touch with David and Brian and couldn't reel them in. Had fun racing amongst Neil, Dennis and Scott though.
