FBMW @ Trois-Rivieres

Good fun race, well worth the 5am alarm. Didn't really find my rythmn in qual, I have a wierd mindset going in these night/morning races where I try to move my wheel as little as possible to be really quiet, but once I got passed that in the race I got a decent pace going. Unfortunatley after qualifying 3rd and taking 2nd at T1, David whacked me in the side through T2 which caused me to spin... I managed a quick 360 though and got going in 5th, hopefully without causing too much mayhem. I worked through the pack, having some nice battles along the way, more contact with Fish and the wall (slight damage), and I eventually got back to 2nd and chased down Conor who was 6 seconds ahead. I got the gap down to 1.5 seconds with 3 laps to go when Conor had a spin and gifted me the win.

Thanks Conor for setting up these races, I'll try to catch more when I can be bothered to wake up this early!

My first race in the BWM...as well as this track. I kinda like the BWM. When it first came out it felt unstable and underpowered compared to the CTDP F1-2005 cars. But, now that I've driven the rFactor F3's I can safely say that the BMWs are much more fun to drive. I plan on getting behind the wheel of these machines more next season.

I never liked this mod much but I knew quite a few enjoyed it so I went with it and looks like it brought out a good crowd, which is a good thing :)

Had a great start and for a good portion of the race, I built myself a good buffer between 2nd place and I. Unfortunately, I slammed the outside wall hard coming out of T1 on lap 8, which bent my steering wheel to the left nearly 30 degrees. The damn thing was so erratic that the buffer I had over Scott diminished from 6 seconds to 1 second within a few laps. He was going to get me before the race ended but my fate came sooner than I had planned when the car snapped from under me going into one of those fast left handers. So with 3 laps left, I had to fight with Bobby to stay in second who spun out in the same place I did...that was a little weird :P

Crappy race for me all in all, but doesn't matter one bit. I am just very pleased that this chapter is starting to pick up some steam. I'll try to schedule some races soon so I don't procrastinate like this week :P

Really glad to see some decent races later in eve here on west coast (not late nt here, just 9pm start, so often they are dinner time races..)

First race here, enjoyed it. Not real fast, stuck in the 08's. Did a BADDY on lap1 into tires, but after a few laps was back up near top 10 which was very fun getting back towards mid pack. Hounded by Ed Jones for much of race who was 2 to 3 seconds back at times, other times closer. Got a break last 2 laps when we encounterd Chris M's off and Ed got worst of it, I gained 3 seconds for a breather.

Nice racing folks, sure beats a movie!

Kind of boring race for me, after the first couple of turns. Half way through the race spun... twice. Then buckled down and started running some nice laps... for me anyway. I was just happy to run a 1:07 even if it was a .999999999 :)

This Chapter is a lot of fun and more people are starting to notice :) Thanks Conor.
