well that turned out to be a disatster.. i ended up just quiting. it was about 8-10 when i did so.. my car was understeering everrryyy turn... i slowed down and tryed the slow in fast out technique. people would catch up to me.. it then got to the point to where i wasnt enjoying myself and was getting mad. soo i esc`d .

I was in the ALFA JR. i should have known not to use that car, i got a pretty good set for it, givin to me, and i was able to run my fastest times in it.. but when the race came, it turned back into a PIG..
i was going to use the LOTUS.. it fit my driving style well. thats what i should have used.

Man, that was an awsome race. That track really lets you get a rhythm going. I was able to hold 2nd for quite some time, but I went the wrong way around John and lost it in the grass - that put me back to 4th or 5th. After that is was non-stop fighting with Peeler and Sheldon. Great close racing Peeler on the last few laps.

Congrats Rick - I don't know how you did it, but I couldn't keep up with you at the start, and way to go Sheldon for taking 2nd from us! Punk.

Wow, Abarth Grp 5 paid off for me. Didn't spend crap on points and came in 7th. Quad'd 7, finish 7th.

I battled with Ray, Jerry and Barret for the entire race. I would close it up on the up and down hill hoping they would run wide and let me slip the nose in. If I didn't have at least 1.5 sec lead heading onto the front straight, I was dead by the 1st brake mark. I got real close to Ray's bumper somewhere on the up hill with jerry right in front of Ray and might of touched it?.? Sorry Ray if I touched it.
Great close racing and this track should be a keeper for seasons to come!!!!!

All those Alfas were *JR's*??!! Didn't think they were that fast. :/

Not my night for racing, it turned out. VIR liked me much better the other night during practice. Tonight, I just couldn't find the handle on my Elite. Kept brain farting and having wobbles and bobbles and half spins. No one to blame but myself. Just not mentally prepared for this tonight.

Had some fun battles along the way though. Kept trading with another Elite as we each pounced on mistakes by the other.

Apologies to the pack of lapping cars that ran up to me in the back twisties. I was trying hard to keep the line consistent in that awful poor-passing zone. Wanted to set up so you'd all be able to pass me after the final corner. Totally surprised at how quickly things got bunched up. I ended up fighting the car while that pack of wolves closed in. I wobbled and caused some evasions. Sorry guys. Hope I didn't ruin anyones position fight too badly.

I just didn't have anything for the Alfa's tonight in my Cortina. Got a couple of opportunities when Ray and later Jerry had trouble making the right at the bottom of the hill, but they'd steadily pull away once they got going again. Only had one off, but tire wear was a concern. A fun race all in all, finished neatly where I Q'd.

Great job on the pace lap and rolling start, everybody! The plan is still standing start when possible, but at least we have that to fall back on when necessary.

whats the technique to these cars?? like how do yall get these times. alll i did was fight the car.. as soon as i would try and push harder.. that would be it, i would be spun out

that was awesome racing. I was running 4th behind mark for atleast 15 laps at the beginning and then we got in on Jason and the 3 of us running 3,4,5th for a good while. I just happened to be be back enough and at the right place and time to take advantage of the small mistake by both mark and jason and was able to bring it home in 2nd. We were slicing and dicing for a few laps around lappers. That was a lot of fun!!

I had one really tense moment at the end of the straight in turn one with jason and mark coming for me I put it into a full on drift and thoughr I was going to lose it but I just kept it on track.

Well that sucked for me. Not even at turn 1 and "Lost Connection with Host" Anyone else getting this lately - I haven't had an issue with my connection in well over a year. I have changed nothing on my setup since last season.

is there any certain key to driving these classics?? im having alot of trouble with them
