Not exactly the way I wish to win - Daniel was the fastest man on track.

I was a bit surprised to qualify 3rd and considering the series points table I was trying to control the gap against closest rivals. 1st stint was quite good handlingwise but 2nd not so much anymore. I was getting a little tired and it was difficult to focus at last stages of the race. Traffic was very helpful and lost very little time throughout the race.

Today was like a big test... how much adversity must I have too abandon a race and go do something else.

I accidentally saved my wet setup over my dry setup, I started race with 2/12 wing, soft wets in front ant hard wets in rear... I am unimpressed with my inability to instantly identify that it wasnt track conditions causing my car to go slower than a golf cart, I pitted put on dry tires and had a blast driving up through traffic. I guess I was having so much fun I did not realize that I was not taking care of tires at all (not that the extra down force didnt help enough), I was sliding tires consistently as I passed others. with 24 minutes to go, I elected to get some new shoes and ended race some very tight racing with a full cast of characters.

I am thinking of registering a complaint/appeal... the only problem is that it is me that I have a complaint about

The server needed a reboot and I am glad everyone was able to rejoin quickly.

Race was really difficult. The GT cars made their presence known early. I made an early move on Pete, as I knew I would have to do. Was trying to keep up with Darren but it seemed liked every time I would get close a GT car would come into the picture. i decided to pit early to maybe get up on Darren, letting him deal with the GT cars. It seemed to work, after the pit I moved up to the 3 sec range and gaining. It was short lived as a flock of Gt's got between us again. Oh well at least I finished one :)

Never really got the feel for the track in practices. I also found that this track really exposes the differences between the RS/360 and the RSR/GTC cars. It's just hopeless to try and be as fast. That said, there were other variables that influenced my race such as far worse tire wear than I had anticipated and taking damage in the first stint piling into a spinning GT car. I also witnessed some awful wreckless driving (of which I was fortunately not the victim) and will be noting it formally.

Got some nice screens of my new beautiful paint, though, thanks to Johan. ;)

Had a great start behind Tom and Borut, we nailed the last turn onto the strait, I felt kinda bad for the rest of the pack as i looked in my mirror....but I got over it;) after that i just tried to hold my position behind Tom. I could see Borut pulling away, and it was clear I wouldn't be seeing him again:) then a ways into it, i spun trying to chase Tom. i quikly looked out the side window,and started to enter the track, but Paul was already there, sorry for the close call....and fully cutting you off, you must have been cursing my name. after that i was trying to close the gap but it proved to be too hard on the rubber, so i just settled in and had a hell of a time controling my car with warn tires and only 3 wing...it was hairy. i lost a bit of time with my crappy pit stop, and lost some more being too giving with the GT cars. oh ya, on the last turn, the line I was taking all race was going deep and cutting back in, I wasn't trying to let you guys through, that screwed me many a times.

it was a great race again, maybe it was the most exciting. I didn't see the gap 5 sec more too much time :)

My car was running very well, it was very quick in the straight and not too slow in the turns, but it was easy to drive and handle at the hot moments.

Racing with the Listers was quite hard, there was difference between the cars. i was faster in the straight but they could brake shorter and turning better.

I very enjoyed it, thanks for all and grats for the winners!!

To recall Johan...not exactly the way i wished to... finish!!!!, hey Johan, if you didn't wish that...and want to give the spot back, i'm open haha!!! :)
First, i was kind of nervous the lead the field into race, but all went good, the car went better and better as the fuel would deplete and was able to keep a decent gap between Johan and me, i was surprised to see a C5, i was expecting Roman, cause i changed car(i had the C5) this morning and found out MC12 was a lot better to me. Then pit went fine, crew didn't answer me, but fortunatly, they were ready, came back out in 4th, got a couple of spots in the laps after, and found out, to my surprise, that Johan had a better stop than me and was in front(i had a 7 sec. lead coming in) so, i decided to push to get back in touch, then found out were i can try to do the move, in T1, i was very strong in the braking zone, went for it, he tried to outbrake me, but he went straight through and i got the pass, THEN.....2 laps before end, duno what i was thinking, i had a 7 sec lead and decided to pass poor Paul in last turn and had a slight contact and there went my hopes for the win, BIG BIG APOLOGIES TO PAUL!!!! :( i hope i didn't ruined your race, i think it's the most stupid move you ever saw, i tought i was good on the outside and just clipped your right fender and i was stocked on the appron(different levels) cause the car was jacked, but should have waited, i would have been here telling you how proud i am of my race, and that, practice this morning payed off... at least, i learned how to drive a better car when you have to chose a handicaped car... and not be stupid if you want to win a race.
Seeya at Buenos aires, totally new track for me, should be fun...!!!

I just couldn't get to grips with my RS today.

I had a hunch that if it was a high track temperature, tyres would just burn out so I went for a 2 stop, which if I had been right my have given me a better finish. As it was tyres seemed to hold out ok for everyone and I was left for dead.

The worst of it though was being taken by some geezer in a pink pussy car!

Blah.. I tryed to go for a no stopper, but came up 2 laps short. I was doing just fine in 2nd too. Bummer.

Great job to all GT and nGT who made the podium.
