Nurburgring (TC-65)

I figured I was in for a top-3 here and knew that from last weekends "fun-run". The Falcon is great for the long straights of these shorter courses, and once again I was able to put it up in the front in qual. Scott Michaels was a sitting duck on pole as Jerry and I both had great lanches. Next thing I knew we were 3-wide going into T1 (dejavu?). I overcooked it a bit and thought I was going off, but kept 'er on the gray. lost a spot to Tommy but quickly regained it, then got into an EPIC battle with Jerry Chen for 2nd. I was faster then him in the early stages of the race (when I had rubber) and slipped past him a few times only to be retaken in sector-2. He was nimble, but I could get him on the straight every lap. Punk just never gave up, and even after I finally got a firm grip on 2nd he continued to hound (and by that I mean he used his bumper) me every lap. I made a mistake, he took 2nd again and a few laps later we traded back off. The final 5 laps were super-slippery after using up all the rear rubber in power-slides. I was lucky to hold Jerry off at that point and was happy with a good 2nd place. Grats to Scott for the win... I was hoping you would get bored and lose concentration... you were too fast in that Mini man (geez)

TC65 was a blast! Started 2nd, on the inside half of the grid. First corner, someone in a blue 'stang (might have been Tommy), gave me a good ol' excuse me shove almost sent me half way to the moon. :D Had a hell of a fun time fighting it out with Tim the entire race, with his big fat ass-ed falcon hanging out all over the track. :P Quite a few times we swapped positions in that up hill chicane. Great fun.
