Euro nGT: Barcelona

The game just crashed as I alt-tabbed during the warm-up. Any fixes for this? Hope you guys have fun.

My game crashed with less than 2 mins to run.

Successfully stuffed a top 5 finish.Not enough research on fuel usage and with 2 lockups in practice stopped any fuel runs.I went with soft slicks for race and everything felt good.However,i was able to overrun my estimated fuel stop on full tanks and spent precious seconds in the pits adjusting fuel,then got a stop and go for speeding.

Not a great race for me... first the rain caught me unexpected, so qualifying was terrible. Then I got rammed from behind by a Porsche in coca-cola livery and lost my rear wing in the first couple of laps. So I pitted and made the repairs and went back out... and a couple of laps later, I was barreling down the straight when suddenly another coca-cola porsche just appeared right in front of me! And I mean literally just appeared - I was alone on the straight one minute, next minute there's a car parked 10 yards in front of me... I had no time to react and slammed into him.. and unfortunately shortly after that, someone hit me too - so sorry whoever that was, but I was shell-shocked!

I don't understand, how is it possible for someone to just appear on the grid like that in the middle of the race???

I saw that Jonny.I was pulling alongside you when i saw that porka appear,looked back to see a ball of flame.

Wrong tire choice. went with hard wets hoping the track would come to them but no avail. went off in turn 1 and smacked the wall. Limped around to the pits and took on inters for the rest of the race and was very suprized to see a top 10 finish.

Wow. What a race.
After qualifing we went to race. Everything went fine...
Then i saw My laps wasnt going off, Game wasnt recording my time either. I went to go pit, se if it would mabe make a diff. Then something very weird happend, The car like auto esc, and went back to the setup screen, i then though well, if u normaly press race, u go to the pit, and exit.....
Not this time, thats when this porka appeard on the grid, 2 sec later bang. I am very very sorry to all whoms race i destroyd, but i realy didnt have a hand in it, its like the game never picked me up, (the same basicly happend last night) i spoke to Mr Tim, and he told me he also didnt know, and thats this is a new problem, If anybody has experianced this problem before, your help would be very helpfull.

Fun race!

right after the practice sessions and the qualifying, i prepared myself for a nice battle with Barry.
i wanted to go out first in quali to have a free track, so i pressed immediately start without watching the weather.
Nice surprise! after one lap on meds, i realized that they are very good for this weather. stable drive and perfect temps!
although i messed up my start (lost revs), i could stay in 2nd position.
after lap one, i saw that i could easily go faster than Barry (what surprised me) and pulled away in "Huttu-feeling" :-))

plan was to pit in lap 27, but was a bit confused what to do as my tyres had nice wear (about 12). but as the gap was around 37secs, i decided not to gamble and took 4 new tyres and lots of fuel (50s stop). too much maths and thinking while driving killed many of my races!

many cars to lap hold my concentration high, was really an enjoyable race!
most made it perfect, but some tight situations still have been there... please never brake hard when getting lapped :-))

Congrats to podium and specially Jan for such a fast pace in the rain.

I was totally surprised to see rain coming to Montmeló in qualifying session, no matter how much is rain needed these days in Barcelona. So I put my rain tires on and went out to track for a ride. I made about 6 seconds slower than on a dry lap, so qualified 16th.

As race started I kept myself behind and soon there were some spun cars here and there, so in early laps I was comfortable running 10th but the driver behind me was coming fast and he first passed me in T1 without any problem.

Later in the next lap he went wide in the turn leading to start/finish straight and I regained 10th position, but he seemed to be too anxious to get ahead and made a risky move at Banc Sabadell in spite of having enough room on the inside of the turn, pushing me out of the track and having to wait for all the other mates to pass before joining the track again what made me go to 16th or 17th place.

After that I was a bit distracted and spun once before my pitstop, and when I came back to track for my 2nd stint I was 17th or 18th, can't remember. All I could do was try to finish the race, and it finally paid off getting a 14th place in spite of going wide twice when pushing to gain 13th place. Not such a bad race after all, I guess.

I hope I wasn't a bother for all the fast drivers that passed me, I tried to keep aside every time.

I paid a better finish by making a bad tire choice. I had inters in qualy and decided to go to softs for the race. Oops, I picked hard wets and not softs! I nursed my car around in 5th on hard wets until my pitstop. I had 3 tires consistently above 300°F/149°C the entire stint! I ran a consistant pace until pitting, letting a few faster folks through.
I changed tires and added fuel and went after GP. He slipped in T1 and I passed him with about 10min left. I had nothing for the top 3. Well done podium. Awesome pace Jan!
