Thanks for the race all,

Had a reasonable start, Track was damp in practice and Q, so race was first laps (with two in WU) on the dry. Managed to go quite well. Very cool fight up front with all the RSR guys, thanks guys!

Missed some power or grip on my ferrari VS the RSR's from some corners,but very nice result. Happy chappy here.

Oh ffs,what can go wrong next.1st race yesterday,i got the time wrong,2nd race,i was out in lap1.This one,running in comfortable 8th with laps running down when the bloody woman pulled my wheel usb plug out,straght into a wall.I must admit i retained magnificent control while she looked on sheepishly.She said"i guess this is not a good time to rub my neck".My reply"well,i guess i could use both hands".

Firstable, sorry to Ryan Ansoon and Miguel de Ratón for being too commited to defend my position tonight: in both battles we had a tap when trying to get the inside of the turns and this time they got the worst part of it.

Qualy was not that bad in spite of the damp track, so I started from 13th place in a dry track but by turn 3 I was 10th, and before L1 I gained two more places thanks to some mates spins.

But Conduruta was pushing hard in 9th place and soon outbraked me in the hairpin, so after he passed me I tried to defend 9th position from Barry Kennedy first and from Andrew Peeler a bit later.

Andrew finally passed me in the hairpin (again) but lost it in the chicane in the following lap and I regained 9th place, keeping a gap with B. Kennedy of about 3 secs. until my pitstop.

After pitstop I was 13th and it was not until many laps later that I could regain my 9th place, but this time Ryan and Miguel were behind pushing hard.

Ryan tried to pass taking advantage of me lifting up to let Barry Hedrick lap me and, when I tried to close the gap right after B. Hedrick passed, we tapped and his car went a little bit on the grass and half-spun, being impossible for me to avoid pushing.

Then it was Miguel who was pushing hard and me trying again to close the gaps until he gave it a go in the chicane: first turn left he gained the inside but we tap and because of the impact I couldn't keep it on the tarmac for the second turn (right) of the chicane and we bangged doors, making his car half spin.

After that I thought I could keep 7th place till the end of the race(some mates left meanwhile and that gave me 7th place) but I spun myself when I was all alone and with no pressure a few turns before race end, putting me 8th and giving 7th to Miguel.

As I said, sorry for the hard battle guys.

Well.. What can i say... Took a front row starting position , took a good start ,was 1st in and out of T1 , controlling the pace without any big problems for the next 4 laps until i got pushed out into the sandtrap and my race was ruined zzzzzz :(.

Lost 14 seconds while digging the car out of the trap and rejoined somewhere in 10th place , playing catch-up with this car just doesn't work and without some very friendly co-operation from Francisco G and Conduruta S i would have prolly been even further down the field. Thx guys for letting me through so easily , very fair from you two :).

Didn't take tires in pitstop and gained few positions , then chased down Timon the rest of the race but didn't quite catch him before the time run out ,it was a fun chase anyway :).

4th place again and some valuable points but i felt there was much better result to be gained this time, without the completely unnecessary and reckless dive bomb move i received in the early laps of the race :s.

BTW... Some lapped cars could be a bit more careful with their using of the brakes on straights , please do not brake hard while a lapping car is directly behind you , specially not in the middle of the straights...thank you.

Got an annoying disconnect at 1/2 distance, though never lost my internet connection? :-(

Qualified 4th, and was running 6th in the race, when I lost connection.

I was careful to keep out of anyones way at the start, as this is the only event i've done in this champ. I let a couple through at the start of lap 3, which put me from 4th to 6th i think, after that, I tried to maintain the gap to the leaders as best I could.

I'd taken on 100L of fuel, and tyre wear was fine, so only needed a very quick stop for some fuel later in the race. With only a 16 second gap to the leader, I hoped to pick up some time, around the stop.

Either way, it was a sound top 6, and possible top 5, down the pan.

From 19 events now at R2P, i've had 5 DNF's, and all disconnects? That's 1 disconnect per 4 events! Am I missing something, I don't get that ratio racing elsewhere.

Samuel what should i say it s my fould to push you out i was a little bit slower on the brakes as you im very sorry.
I watch out next time sorry again.

Good race, congrats to the top!
Fun race looking back, very pleased, and lucky, to finish in the top 10 after a bad start.

First lap I tried to hang in there side by side going downhill, but it turned out we were three wide and I got bumped out. No problem , not a punt, just side-side bump. Of course at the time I was pissed at the situation and myself for getting into it. Had a few fun laps, and a few spins, driving mad, grinding my tires but soon settled down so I could finish.

Second lap I spun Michael Virt on the first turn, sorry. I was close and pulled out to the next lane but wasn't really close enough to make a courteous/legal pass, but you tried to let me through...just a mix up by both of us I think. I pulled over to let you go since it was avoidable.

Had some fun making a few passes, notably Martin Andujar! Great driving, holding your line, predictable...but once I got past you crashed :( !!! See you next time!

Drove solid to the finish, gaining spots from spinners, bad pitstops or dnf's for various reasons. Lucky to get inbto the top 10.

No problem Ryan with that spin. I actually think it was my mistake because I went into T1 too early. Nice race anyway.
