Grats to Krueger on the Championship and to GTNDC for the Team Chamionship...and of course to CeeJay on this win.

Well done finishers and to the podium! My second race online, and it didn't go so good. Got punted on first corner, and a 360 turned into me on the 2nd corner. After that it went downhill. My connection software minimised GTR2 to the desktop twice during the race, leaving my blind, and into the walls. And then if that wasn't enough, my girlfriend buzzes at the door 6 laps into the race... ;-/
But it was fun, I finished & thoroughly enjoyed it! I am amazed at how quick the fast guys are. Well done folks! I can see I still have lots to learn. And I need to get a better connection. Good ol' SA and the state of our internet .... 'nuff said.

Congratulations Samuel on the title and congrats podium for this race.

Oh, what a bad way to finish this season for me!! It seems I squeezed my engine badly and at 5 minutes to go she said "I can't give you no more, my friend", and with no previous warning she died with a white smoke.

Actually I was pushing hard Preedy's Porsche to try to gain back 12th place at that point, but the whole race was real fun.

Started 14th but managed to get through the mess at T1 and that gave me 9th place, not for a long time as I soon went back to 10th in a nice pass by a Porsche (what else? only 2 Ferrari's here today).

Trying to keep my 10th place I spun (picture) in one of the tight turns and dropped to 13th, but I took over other 2 Porsches and got 11th place in a couple of laps.

Then I made another spin in the same place and I just couldn't recover any places before my pitstop. Then, in my second stint I saw another mate coming out of his pitstop a few meters before me, he got the good side to T1 and I punted him (sorry), and when waiting to give back position it seems he thought exactly the same, so we caused a little mess to the mates coming behind (sorry for that as well).

From there on I could only gain places due to mates retires, and then when I had Preedy at view again, my engine began singin Amy Winehouse's famous "nooooo, nooo, no", and it was the end.

And that's all for this season, hope to see as many of you on track in the future.

Only 20 drivers from the big list that registered?

2 mins before the official race began there was still 32 registered.

I hate to keep going on but everytime I come over here for a race the same happens.

I really can't understand why the drivers who register keep allowing this to happen

FFS, only 20 raced, 1/2 hr before quali there was 4 on the waiting list....where did the other 12 'racers' go?

Worse result to date.
Unpredictable lags for pair laps before the finish: reverting from the eighth to eleventh place :(

Wow Brian K, you must have posted while i was typing my post. I'm with ya all the way on this one mate, very frustrating...

yes its dissapointing that people sign up and not race, maybe when people dont show they should get a 1 week race ban. then maybe the people that want to race can actually race.

anyway after a bit of a shambles at the start(not my doing)
i ended up about last with a lot of work to do with a very bent up car.

i had some great batlles in this one and ended up ninth after Samuel Krueger let me pass him at the end. You really did not need to do that, i know you hit me but nobody changed position because of it. so next time just keep going, unless you cost me a position it doent matter to me. A true racing gent and weel done for the championship :D

Thx guys , i just wish it could have been a bit better end to the season.

Qualifying was a complete disaster , i run into a stationary ghost car , then into a spinning car and those 2 laps i got in were already with a damaged car so that was that.

Made a mess in the T1 when i ever so slightly nudged Miguel on the turn-in , but it was enough to bring him around. I think there was a slight contact into me just milliseconds before i hit Miguel ,but the end result would have prolly been the same anyway. Tried so hard to take it easy but unfortunately it didn't work out , apologies to Miguel :|.

Took a drive through on next lap and started the chase from the back of the field again , but unfortunately my setup was a complete joke on these cold temperatures and my brakes were not working as they should have been. Every time on the harder brakings car was so restless that it was really scary and couldn't get into the race mode at all during the whole time.
This all meant that when i was following Greg M quite closely in early laps, i lost it really badly when he braked a bit sooner than i anticipated. Tried to swerve to the inside to avoid hitting him but i lost the car completely and slid over the grass and back into the racetrack , straight into Greg :(.

I'm very sorry Greg , must have been a shock when i slid back on track straight in front of you, but unfortunately i was a passenger at that time already and couldn't do much at that point.
I gave my position to you on the last lap because i felt it's the best way to say sorry about the mess i did.

Boyd had some troubles with his computer apparently and his movements were very unpredictable , i hit a ghost car he dropped on some point and after that i had some more troubles before i managed to overtake him. No biggie thou Boyd , tough luck with the computer, tried to signal you to let me through since you had problems , thats why i flashed my lights few times.

There were some other stuff going on too and i got pushed into a huge sand trap on T3 early on the race , dunno what was that all about but i have to see the replay and read the possible explanations of why that happen :|.

Good chase with Barry on the last few laps , but with my brakes it was doomed to fail and eventually i lost it on T5 , ending the fun there :|.

Was a bit confusing when i got constant blue flags but Tolga on the 2nd place didn't want to overtake me/us , it was a nice thought but i wish you would have gone through and cause maybe some disturbance into Barry's rhythm to make the overtaking move possible :D ;P.

Ah well , not the final i wished for but hopefully i didn't cause too much grief there... certainly a race to forget as soon as possible :(.

Time for a summer break now , maybe i'll skip the other races what i have in the calendar since i really don't feel like racing atm , but let's see how it looks like tomorrow :).

Was a challenging season with a restricted car almost whole season , but it was nice to win it eventually. Although most of the early TOP 5 guys didn't bother to show up anymore in the late season and that did the job much easier , but that's not really my problem actually :D.

Big congratulations to CJ for another dominating win , way to go mate.. 8) , grts to rest of the podium finishers too :).

Talk about frustration. My goal was to keep out of trouble and to finish, but I got caught up in someone else’s accident at turn 1, made a couple of mistakes, and got in the way of a car lapping me – another spin. Then after 40 minutes, I lost my connection with the host. This was the 3rd race I’ve entered in this series, and it’s the 3rd time either my game has crashed or I lost the connection. AAARRRGH!!!
