Bad turnout but a pretty interesting and fun race for me.

I knew I was not gonna be able to make it for the first race so decided to join this one with my old reliable Lotus Elan. Never raced here so with 30 min to start qualy I went into offline practice and managed some high 31's, but had visits to the grass everywhere so was not very optimistic for this one, so then I entered the server just as the qualy was starting. Did not have pretty decent laps but managed to get a 4th place in the grid, out of 7 starting this one.

So then in the race, I had always cars in sight both in front and behind although not door to door racing I was constantly under pressure to not make mistakes... luckyly the people in front made them so I passed into 3rd... then into 2nd when Mursayeff had a visit to the grass with just 2 laps to go... then on last lap he was really pushing trying to catch up but luckyly for me the goal line avoided a possible passing attempt... one more lap and it would have been pretty hard to hold him back.

Congrats to David for that awsome pace... had I practice more I would still had a hell of hard time trying to keep up with your rythm.

Looks like 2 races in a row is not a good idea, wasn't too crowded there, least to say.
David was unquestionably faster - I scored my PB in qual and still was only 2nd.
The race was pretty boring, I lost concentration (and grip) and falled back to 3rd. Managed to catch Emilio, but still, the distance was not enough to commence any reasonable attack in last turn, so I backed off.
The good thing about this series is that no matter how bad you screw up, you still can calm yourself by getting more rental points. :)

Decided to join this race at the last minute.

Had virtually no practice in the Elan but thanx to the poor turnout, still came away with 10 points despite rolling and crashing out on lap 15.

***note to self - get plenty of practice long before the race begins!!!***

Shame there weren't more people there, could have been an interesting and competitive race.
