great race dennis. i was a lot quicker than you but your strategy was better. i knew a 3 stopper was quicker but a little more risky because of traffic. it's so hard to pass here....you drove a great race and made it work.

I had a messy qualifying, damaged my car so had to pit. Only had time for 2 boast laps, the 2nd lap being 1 and a half secs faster than i managed in practice which gave me a unexpected 4th.

Done a lot of practice yesterday and found scrubbed blacks were the way to go for me, so decided to fill her up to the brim as i new once i burnt some fuel the tyres would be consistent for the whole stint.

Ran a pretty good race, only made 2 or 3 errors to speak of. Hit wall and bent steering one lap before i was due to come in for my second stop, only costing me 16 secs in repairs.

I agree with John, Dennis M drove a great race, once he got passed me i still believed with my different strategy i could still be in a race with him at the end.....lol I was nowhere near! Nice work getting from 10th to 2nd Dennis.

I really enjoy this track, it is certainly challenging with these cars. I was able to tweak my setup for this race to allow me to run fast and still be able to take some risks. I felt more comfortable on this track than on any previous race this season except maybe Rouen (which I ruined). I knew I would have nothing for the leaders but I was having high hopes for a podium finish. At one time during the race I was running 3rd, but it was probably due to pit stops. Early in the race I was being closely followed by a few cars, but I was able to pull a gap by pushing the car harder. A few guys must have spun that were chasing me, because later in the race I had a comfortable gap in front and back, so I just cruised home for a 5th place. I did have one spin on the second stint, but I only lost about 10 seconds. Nice clean racing guys.
