Nurburgring (GTC-65)

I wasnt even going to run in it, but decided at the last minute to take a few laps and try to score a few points thru attrition. After a few laps I just kept on driving, and was comfy doing my own thing with no one really around. During the pit stop my crew decided to change some rear suspension parts, the go to a movie and dancing afterwards. Morons took over 2 full minutes. Still, I just trucked along and due to some bad luck of others, I got a good 6th place in the Ferrari (very slow car for the GTC65 class).

GTC67 started out great, qualed like 9th or 10th with the Renault, which was surprisingly fun to drive. Snappy little car. Shot out of a cannon on the start, got up to 6th I think. Then lost it a couple times in the last chicane, lost a couple positions and kept a steady pace doing battle with Dean and Glen for the first 9 laps. Lap 10, went in to pit, blew the pit entrance, almost ate it into the armco. Glen must have laughed his butt off watching that. :D Then was so steamed at that stupid mistake, I made another one by speeding in the pits, had to get a stop and go. And then comes the MOST IDIOTIC THING IN GTL. Come in for the stop and go, and the game/pit board had reset my fuel to 1lap for the stop and go. Doh. Almost made it all the way around, died just at pit entrance, so the pit crew didn't even have a chance to push it into my pit spot.
