WTC Spain - Race 2

First race went OK but I started getting really tired. Made couple of small mistakes and didn't feel like correcting the last one and parked the car instead. Grats winners and survivors.

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A BIG APOLOGY TO EVERYONE I HIT IN RACE 2. :( So embarrassing. I am so sorry about that. It was a total mess I made of the opening laps of the race.

Close racing every lap.Paul was on my bumper most of the race. I could tell he was alittle quicker but he kept his patience & didn't make contact with me.I thought he was waiting for a last lap pass, then he dissapeared.
Grats to Ian on the win

Was a great duel up front between Ian, John M, and myself for most of the race.

I tagged Ian into a half spin in turn 3 at one point, so pulled off the racing line as much as I could whilst he got back to speed. That let John M. through and it was a great pressure battle from there on in. :)

I won't comment on my DNF until the replay is available, as I think it fair to look at the other drivers view in the cold light of the next day.

This is a fun track! Didn't finish in the points but still had fun. My apologies to Marius Botha for punting you. I wasn't trying to pass you just hit the brakes a little late. Congrats to Rory, Martin and Devin in race 1 and Ian, John and Pete race 2. Looking forward to Macau.

No problem Michael - at least you stopped and waited for me to rejoin again.

This was a great race, had a good start and that, combined with the T2 troubles got me into 11th place on lap 1 - somehow Rory ended up behind me and was pushing me hard until a silly move round the outside of Mark McClean in T1 saw me hit the gravel and let Rory and Roman past - most of the rest of the race was a great fight with Roman - we were fighting so hard that Devin cought us and passed us both - hehe.

@Devin: You took me out on lap 1 of race 2. I took a look at the replay and dont really understand it as you were a good gap behind, not trying a move but just gave me a huge punt which also collected Kenny as I spun off the track. I accept people make mistakes, but you should have waited until those you turfed off track had gotten back on track if you were really sorry.

Started 14th after the race one disaster, managed to avoid all the early carnage and gained seven spots on lap 1, then made it up to 5th a couple of laps later. Some really great racing after that, the top 5 were covered by less than 2 seconds for much of the race. Fun stuff!

Yes Devin polaxed me at the end of the start finish in race 2 (see replay).
