Intro to Racing

This was a fun event, thanks to all those who took part, and Tim for keeping an eye on it all.

Was just trying to get in some close racing with the less experienced guys, and backed off a few times to let ppl catch up. Took a decent hit to the rear in the early laps - not sure who that was, but you scared the hell outta me!
I got into the back of Mark, I was carrying a little more speed through the turn, when I just rubbed your rear bumper.
All in all, this is a nice little game. The even playing field, and lack of setups made the racing close.

Sorry about that Kris, it was me who rear-ended you. Didn't mean to scare you, I just wasn't able to slow fast enough.

My first couple laps were poor. I was having contact with other cars, see above for example, and got caught up on a couple curbs. Had to let some traffic by before rejoining the track. After settling in I was having great fun mid pack, everyone seemed fairly close speed wise. On about lap 7 I got a great run onto the back straight and made a move from 5th place to 2nd, only to be forced off into the kitty litter. Don't know where that came from, but oh well thats racing.

I was glad to see someone waiting up for me after I rejoined the track. Just tried to have fun with him in the last remaining laps.
