Iam Sry for hitting you on like lap 10 or so.
I had lost the back end of the car and was heading for the outside wall.I was not trying to take you out.Felt real bad since all I needed to do was run clean.
But that start was Nuts with all the cars just stoped.I made more lefts and rights for a couple of laps that i never made a race pace.
Thats when I lost the back end and hit Scott.
I sure wish Dan Had been here to keep it fair on points.

Thx to all. That was my first race on Race2Play & first official race on ARCA. I expected myself to be way much slower on track.
On the lap 40-41 after mistake & pit-stop for repairs i found myself disconnected from game server and teamspeak - was i kicked or that was some connection problems - don't know.

If it was TS and ARCA almost certain a connection belch IMO.

Shocker of an event for me. Turned up on the server this afternoon with no practice. Watched Tom and Pete's lines for 5-10 minutes and then put in a couple of hundred laps. Only really had time to work on gearing and ride-height. Fortunately I seemed to get it all right over the course of a single lap and was running 17.0's. Was shocked to see Tom turn a 16.79 in practice... you animal! lol!

Things went tits up from qualifying onwards. Was easily on for 2nd on the grid and what do I do? Forget to load my Q setup that's what... dumbass.

Race was a case of trying to find room; unfortunately I think my mind began to wander and I ran into the back of Ruslan idioticly on lap 2. Was standing on the brakes trying to avoid it, and with the lightest of touches he looped into a slow spin. What a bitch it is when that happens. Tried to let him back through but I think he may have been a little bit confused by my slowing to let him through and the traffic was preventing him to go by anyway.

I gave up and called it a bad job after going 2 laps down.

I don't think I'll bother with DuQuoin... might be persuaded through boredom but the idea of racing these things on dirt sounds about as appealing as banging my balls in the door.

They're actually a lot of fun on the dirt, Jon.. I'd go so far as to say the game engine is probably better suited for dirt than pavement. Look for 31-32 second laptimes to be competitive.

Disaster for this one. Worked all through practice to be consistent and not to loop it coming off the corner, sure enough on the 6th lap did just that. Ended up on the inside of entrance to turn 3, facing the wrong way. As small as this place is, there was always traffic going by, so no easy way to turn it around without potentially ruining some races. So, called it a day and will look forward to playing in the dirt...

weird cuz i never run good haot laps and that was my race-pace. i had dodged a 2 car spin and was catching up 2 #51 when we both spun out of turn 2 at the same time. must have spun the motor backwards and soon flames erupted, it was parked at the entrance 2 pitroad and i spectated til sandeep wrecked cuz i think his car was the only competiton for scott

I took my regulation 5 laps of practice before qual and went in totally unprepared. Sandeep again provided me with a sublime setup and I threw the car around and was suprised to get 2nd on the grid!
I started well and imediatley had a ton of pace over Tom but this place is too narrow, and for some reason I was getting warp, and Tom was driving really hard so I had to give him a little space. Coming off T4 every lap it was all I could do not to run over him but he'd always cut me off in T1. Eventually he made a mistake but unfortunatley it didnt work out as he spun up the track and sandwiched me with the wall, wrecking my aero and I didn't even manage to take the lead from him. A few laps later I did a wall of death around T3/4 and finally took the lead and pulled away, while Sandeep pretty much followed me through. My car was pretty bent and I could barely keep it off the wall in T1/2 as it understeered madly, and before long Sandeep was all over me. I decided to try to hold him off but it was too slow in T1/2 so I made the decision to let him through as soon as he made his next move and try to defend a team 1-2. Unfortunatley, next time he made a move I slipped up slightly and bounced off the wall out of T2 and wasn't able to keep away from him, so instead of letting him passed I spun him out! Felt really bad about that but solidiered on and, despite one backmarker trying to kill me about lap 30 into T3, I managed to hold on for my first oval win in... I think, ever!

Again, sorry Sandeep and next time you can take the champagne ;-)

I just never got a handle on the setup, it was bad from the first lap of testing to the last lap of the race. Nothing I tried in between improved it one little bit, so I just had to live with it and the 170deg C RF temps. Pushed like crazy!
Somehow I managed to qualify 5th, but that was all for nothing, cos when we went to the grid I was parked at the back...half inside Toni's car! Managed to get going OK (but with some damage before a lap was turned), though I wasn't sure whether to re-take my grid spot. Decided to place safe and hold position at the back.
In the end I managed to grab 4th spot, which I consider to be a seriously good piece of damage limitation. Wish I could say the same for my shoulder/elbow, which has been killing me ever since.
This track I shall add to my list of those I never wish to race at again.

Forgot to say congrats to Tom on the championship. Looks like thanks to the ridiculous points system the top positions are pretty much locked in as long as everyone starts the next race :-(

Running with Iowa setup was not bad after all, but how old is this asphalt?? Its gonna turn into gravel sooner or later
