Congrats to winners.

Ever wondered what happens if you cross the s/f straight on the outside of the signs on the right? You get a DQ.

I had fast drivers behind (1st & 2nd) and decided to let them by as quick as possible in s/f straight, so I went offtrack behind the signs and that was the end of it.

My pace today was real slow compared to the top: only 1:50s (qualy was 1:49 high) but I managed to be around 11th for some time because of the initial incidents, until I hit one of those killer kerbs and had to make an almost 3 mins. pitstop.

I came back in last place and moved up till 18th, but then I got DQ'ed. I think I need a rest...

Sounds like you're as gutted as me. After 120 practice laps, did a PB in Qual to be rewarded with the slowest time.

Managed to dodge about 15 spinning cars over the first 5 laps (getting good at that), moved right up the field, pitted on schedule then boom - disconnect. Do I have to change ISP again? Do I have to emigrate?

...and i thought i had a bad race :|

Well was 4th in practice with a low .47 but had a mare in Quali and had to start 9th with a .48 something oops.

My whole race was basicaly catching people spin, catching people spin etc etc. Came into pit but not sure my tyres were changed as my lap times just got worse after that. I know Barney had the same issue but he went back to the Pit for another stop to change his which probably cost him the race. In total I had something like 6 spins which is way to many, one helped by Jack Grrrrrrrrr lol.

Great race and grats to Jack & Kieron suprised I got pole to be honest I seen some better laps in practice than I managed in qually I would have been happy with top 5 hard track to get a good lap

I got a ok start I was able to hold position into first corner Sam gave me plenty on room thx mate, once his VC kicked in again (you like to make life a challage Sam lol) I was ale to pull out a lead of 10 seconds on Kieron I made a mistake on lap 16 and again on lap 18 which left me with 8 seconds to Kieron so I decided to pit all going well but as Dave said no tyres tried to make it have it while still in the pit but thought I would just have to go back and do another stop which was not part of the plan but I had a great battle with Simon for 3rd place he really did not want to give it up he made a great move to stop me getting past after the long back straight repect mate I thought I had it in the bag and after about 4 laps of pressure I had got past once but then ran wide at the hiarpin, he finally made a small mistake onto the back straight which allowed me to get past

Starting 10th With six spins Dave you still managed to get 7th I think thats not bad at all!

Very happy with the win, but not so much with some aspects of it.

got a really nice start and just by being careful/lucky managed to pick my way through most of the smoke to be 10th at the end of lap1 :P

Then got on to the rear end of a little train to which Dave was on the tail of and unfortunately i hit him going down to T1 - was really annoyed with myself about that, just messed up my braking and tagged his left rear so sorry about that Dave.

After that it was just picking up spots when possible and waiting for the pitstops to cycle around and see where everyone was, and after Barney's i could see it was gonna come down to me and Kieron so it came down to the crew's with 11 to go :D

I had a slightly quicker stop, but he got out first but i was maybe a bit braver on the brakes going down the backstretch and got inside and tried to get away. Didn't work and Kieron hung on grimly so i was pretty relieved to see a cloud of tyresmoke behind me with 2 to go and i could then relax to the end.

@Barney - i always take tyres in these cars - it's the refuelling that takes forever.

14 seconds for 22 litres on my stop (11 for the tyres) so anyone who came in around halfway probably spent nearly 20 seconds sitting still - not good.

Awful season for me this series, 1 point from four races!

The pictures tell the end of my race, most of it was a battle for the lower top ten.

Grats to those who finished and to Jack coming from the back to win.

Was a bit disappointed in qual. Either got stuck in traffic or I spun off. Luckily my first banker lap got me 3rd, but I was after a spot on the front row.

Got an OK start and had a bit of ago down the inside of Barney into T1 but I was too far behind really. Got hung out to dry in T2 which nearly gave Pablo the chance to get by but I just about held onto 3rd. Made a bit of a mess of T3 though so Pablo was able to slip by.

Really struggled to find the speed I had in practice and I was struggling to stay with Pablo which bummed me out a bit to be honest. Past Sam to get 3rd spot back, then on Lap eight Pablo spun going down to the hairpin and I was just close enough to move up to 2nd. The next 6 laps he was pretty much stuck to my rear wing, and was clearly faster but I had some good fun holding him off. Lap 15 though he spun in the last corner of the lap which sadly ended that battle.

Jack was now 5 or so seconds behind (was alway checking the leader board as I knew he'd make an appearance sometime) and Barney was around 10 seconds ahead. Got my head down and tried to knock a few seconds of Barneys lead. Got it down to around 8 seconds I think when I noticed he pitted, so I knew that I had to make every lap before my stop count if I wanted to pass or close the gap to him, and having a charging Jack a couple of seconds behind you helps to get them fast laps in :).

Lap 22 and it was time for my stop, jack was a couple of seconds behind and he followed me down the pit lane. Made a bit of a balls up and stopped a little too early, so I had to edge up to the waiting pit crew a little which probably cost me a second. Jacks stall was infront of mine so I was watching the timer and him. Got going again before Jack but he was right under my rear wing as we rejoined the track.

Got onto the back straight and I had a look at the leader board to see where Barney was, to my surprise I was still leading, but while I was looking at that Jack pulled along side me. Turning into T4 I see a front of a car to my right as I was turning to the apex, Think I managed to steer left out of his way in time as i didn't feel any contact but Sorry to Jack if their was. That'll teach me to look at the standings when I should be looking in my mirrors :).

I was expecting Jack to clear off in to the distance after that, but I was surprised to see I was able to stay with in a second or two of him. 3 Laps to go and I was still with Jack and had a 20 second lead over Barney in 3rd, so I decided to really go for it in the last laps. That charge lasted 1 lap cause with 2 to go I ran wide at T3, went on the grass and spun it. So I was now 10 secs behind jack and 10 in front 0f Barney, so I just drove it to the flag after that. Shame I went and spun it, would have been a good last couple of laps I think :).

Grats to Jack to yet another storming run up the field, and to Barney for 3rd, and all the guys who finished and everyone who let us by.
