Finland Rally

Congrats to podium, winners and all of you fast guys.

Did I say I thought this rally was a bit better for me than the previous ones? Hmmm, then it probably was not a good idea to take these stages right after a F2 training session.

With this last event of RBR I say goodbye to this new series (lucky this was a test one). I found out that, if I'm not yet good enough on road racing, I'm even worst in rallies !!

So it's time for a quiet retire and just enjoy someone else's pictures of the events... I count on that !!

Quite pleased with the results, knowing I haven't driven Finland for over 2 years and hadn't practiced at all, Le Mans consumed all my free time. And I taken one fastest stage time, woohoo. :)

Rolled it on twice on stage 2 as pacenotes were horribly wrong on few occasions.

Well, this rally went about as I expected. I drove through the stages once on Wednesday, then dove in on Sunday. This is definitely one that with some practice you could find some major places to cut time, partially thanks to the forgiving snow banks.

On Sikakama (a really fun stage) I clipped the inside of a corner that rolled the car but it ended up back on its wheels and it probably only cost me 7-8 seconds getting back underway. Everything else was going OK until the last stage I drove - Kaihuavaara II.

I went off on a corner very early in the stage and got stuck going back and forth trying to get out, thinking this was better than calling for help. When I got back on the road, I went off again on the very next corner! To cap it off a little later I hit a small bump somewhere that flipped me over on the roof, so I STILL ended up calling for help. What a disaster.

I went alot better than I expected here, just caught a tree on a couple of stages but didn't get held up for very long atall. Good fun holding a slide for 5 seconds or more on some of those long medium corners.

so wait, this is the last race that R2P will have for RBR? damn! I did a lot better than I thought since I just got the game last week. but, I had a moment on stage 2. I hit a tree and spun it, and I lost about 8 seconds overall. but, I still finished well everywhere else. stage 6 scared the hell out of me, though. I couldn't see where I was going, so I was driving it on pace notes alone, and I was almost crawling through the stage. well, I hope to see it return cause I seem to be better at off road stuff than tarmac stuff. congrats to the Adams brothers!

Joseph, I hope my words didn't confuse you. I meant this is *my* last rally, I'm not doing quite well here, but as Pete said, there's still a lot of fun for you RBR guys.

LOL just made a bunch of mistakes and bad luck(imvisible objects, those camera guys over blind hills,and just ignoring my spotter). Only on Sikama I was happy with the other stages, no big mistkaes, no vehicular manslaughters and no assists necessary.
