TRM: Hockenheim

Seemed to have good pace here, but several trips into the gravel put paid to a good finish.

Certainly was no let up round here for 40 minutes, so well done to Tom on the win, and to the podiums.

Apologies to my team mate Dave for braking a bit too late on lap 2, I know you are used to it though Dave - sorry mate!

From practise I knew there was one kerb (T10) I couldn't touch with my FL tyre or else I'd go straight to the wall, and that's exactly what happened in lap 3 or 4, can't remember. Pity 'cause I had a good start climbing two spots and had fun sneaked between Nick and Dave in a late brake maneouvre, although they passed me back later on.

It seems I'm m getting stuck at the back of the field in the last races and can't get out of there. I may need to re-read my books...

Well, was in this for fun really but was nice racing with everyone and I can normally run ok in the GT3, but the race started out bad really as I did some tweaks to my setup for the race and was expecting there to be a warmup session so I could do half a lap and see how the tweaks are but no warmup session and we went straight into the race! :(

I got one of my so called classic standing starts though and jumped Robin and Tom to jump into 1st from 3rd by the first corner, but after a few corners the car felt pretty bad , I couldn't get the car to hook up well enough in allot of the corners so I was struggling really but could keep it on track, held the 1st place for a while though and defended as Tom came up on me and looked faster, then I made a mistake and he got past and went off in the distance. Was heading for a 2nd place until I realised I didn't have enough fuel to finish, (Is that the car fuel calculation or GTR2's messing up again?)

Anyway good racing from everyone and I might be at the next race if I have the time.

Someone ganna make some screenshots? :P, top 3 at the start would be nice.....

Botched my pole and lost two places to Robin and Damian (I think). Was hard work getting back to front but was then able to push and make a gap. Was surprised to take the race here, wasn't feeling particularly fast. I guess the truth will reveal itself in future events, hehe.

Fuel calc is wrong here, yes. Learned it the hard way when I lost a Sprint race in UKGTR league in the last lap. Grrrrr. Do the math, DO THE MATH! Well, since then I calculate "on foot" for every event, based on my driving fuel consumption. Even with this there's an occasional shot in the dark, lol.
