rF3: Istanbul

I'm happy! Alright, I didn't do well in qualifying after not realising my lap limit, and I finished 11th in the race. But it was my first proper overtaking manoever that I'm happy with.

After noticing just how much my car hated me in the first part of the race (having spun more than 5 times) I nurtured it and began to catch up to Nuno. Coming through the famous Turn 8, my car just didn't grip - despite full downforce - and I lost it on the last apex.

I got back into it, and caught up to Nuno again. This time, I got a better run through the last couple of turns, and out of the last turn. We were side by side up to turn 1, I braked slightly earlier than Nuno, I locked wheels. Nuno couldn't turn in however, and ran wide. There I was, 2 minutes later shouting to myself, "That was well good!!!"

Even so, Nuno did very well keeping his cool even when I was closing in. I would've bottled it!

Well done to all the drivers, especially Barney and the Podium. Great racing from all.

Spin City for me, must have lost it seven or eight times which is not good enough.

Well done to those who kept it on the track and thanks for attending the races.

I got my goals

1. Finish in the pts "top 8"
2. Get a lap time in the 1:53 bracket

Was my first race at Race 2 Play and it was pretty nice I like it.

Great race guys had a blast in the championship that blooming kerb at Rouen-Les-Essarts '94 got stuck on that killed my engine whilst leading :/ But I made he mistake in the first place

Grats Steve pushed all the way never gave up giving me grief :))

Anton Klimenkov it was me who could not avoid you sat in the middle of turn 5 but no harm done at least you just kept the car stopped not spinning all over it makes it easier "most of the time" to avoid, thanks for saying sorry

First off congrats to Barney on the championship & a dominating victory here at Istanbul.Qualifying was good resulting in 2nd on the grid which I was happy with then had a few good dices throughout the race eventually finishing in 2nd place & an overall 2nd in the championship which was great.Thanks to all who participated & to Team Ecosse & Team Shark for the organisation of the series,great stuff.

Congrats to the ones who could tame this spinning machines.

I have come to the conclusion that I cannot drive these cars as I always keep on spinning them. Actually I hadn't registered for this event at first, but as my FBMW race ended before I expected due to a noob mistake (looking back for too long, even in a straight) I felt I wanted some more racing tonight: well, it was only a couple more laps before I lost my FL wheel.

I hope this time I've learnt the lesson.

Congrats to Barney on yet another win & Steve on the championship you two were in a class of 2 for most of the season.I didn't have my best race but have really enjoyed driving these F3 cars they require maximum concentration.

Another good rF3 race. Not a huge amount of side-by-side racing for me, but given the concentration levels needed to keep these things pointed in the right direction, that's no bad thing. Made only one real mistake in the race when I locked up big time at the end of the back-straight and ran onto the run-off area - unfortunately, this cost me 4th place. Still, a Top 5 finish is good.

Well done on the win and the championship, Barney - dominating stuff this season. Unlucky, Steve, I don't think there's much between you, but at least you got one of the open-wheel championships. And congrats, Neil, on finishing third overall - very impressive season.

Thanks to Team Shark for providing this series. Although not everyone's cup of tea, I love these cars.

This is was 1st race on open wheels after a six month break. I havent pretended for points, just want to see cheker flag. On last laps ive damaged my car, had a pit-stop. After that ive coudnt handle a car, and spinned in front of lapper. He crashed to me, realy sorry for that. Hope to perform better in future. Grats to winners. Thanx to team shark. See u next season)
