I really enjoyed that; it has been almost a year since I have raced and it was well sorganised & good fun. Sorry - I hit the wrong button in quali and announced "leaving the pits" in error; I will remove those buttons for future. Well done to Leon for the race win!!

Congrats to winners of champ & race.

It seems I don't learn from my previous mistakes: how many times have I told myself not to look back when in a straight... and I did it again, going wide and crashing the S/F leftside wall when I was 6th.

I'm really sorry for the guys behind me that tried to pass but didn't make it: one red car went wide and crossed the track (luckily there was no one behind) and the other one (picture) tried an inside from far away and touched my RR tire, crossed the track inesperatedly but unfortunately the car behind him met him and rolled.

Gosh, that was a lonely race for me :(
Other than the first lap, I didn't see another car the whole race.
My tactic was going to be to conserve tyres, but it didn't really matter in the end! Oh well, I still got 4th place, which I'll take!
Only other thing of note:
Apart from the first lap, all my laps were between 2:02.2 and 2:02.8 - I don't think I've ever been so consistent!

Cracking track, trouble was I span too much, made it back a couple of times and then beached it.

Good battles all around from what I could see though.

My first F-BMW event was not quite without incident, but a lot of fun nevertheless.

Started P10, and made a good start up to P9 until a half spin at T8. After a good fight back, I found myself chasing down Francisco for 7th. The screen shot he posted is pretty much what I would have shown.

He had made a mistake at the previous turn, and I had a run on him on the back straight. Through the kink I was drawing alongside, when he came over and I ended up getting 2 wheels on the grass and lost control. Sorry Francisco if that is what ended your race, and sorry to Oleg, who was following close behind, I know that ended your race when you couldn't avoid getting caught up in the confusion.

I managed to get going again in 13th, and somehow regained 10th by the end.

Was surprised to get pole - I had just got into 2:00's for the first time about 15 mins earlier on the server. I was worried as Steve & Barney were having a title battle and I was stuck up there with them.

As we pulled away I dropped 2 positions to them but found my setup was quicker so I took 2nd back from Steve bt T2. I had to wait to get Barney after the long straight. But they were with me for about 5 laps and as they started tussling it bought me a few secs :) I was all too glad that I had a gap or I would have just surrendered the position to them if it was too close.

Well done Steve, a brilliant performance... Also brilliant fight-back from Rick (from 13th at one point to 5th)

Don't worry Anthony, it wasn't our contact what ended my race: I did it all by myself. Although I had a cranked front wing from a previous spin the car was still driveable until I decided to take a loooong look back while in the main S/F straight. :)

What a fantastic series & an absolutely heart pounding finish to the last race.With a bit of luck & some deep breathing I was able to clinch the championship in this last race by 3/1000 of a second over Barney,don't really think you can get much closer than that.Congrats also go to Sam Moss for the final championship podium.Thanks all to those who competed for making this a great series & also to Team Shark for organisng it.

Race was going pretty well for me. Settled into a fairly comfortable 4th spot, trying to catch the leaders, but ended up at the same pace or a tenth slower, so wasn't making a lot of headway.

All other cars disappeared in front and Nick informed me over Teamspeak that I had left the server - grrrr. No idea what happened, ruined a pretty decent race for me.
