Congrats to Tristan and Garret. Well done

I want to apoligize to Barry Kennedy for a stupid mistake I made. Cold brakes with full gas tank on a Viper doesn't stop to well. I did a pit stop run for punting you. Sorry Garry, stupid mistake on my part. Good steady race after the first and only misshap.

Nah JG, was all me. I got a bit impatient and nearly took us both. ;-/ Glad it was minor.

Felt sooooo good to be back in the M3 after so long. :D

That was a great race and very nice fight beetwen me and Tristan. I was able to make a good start and then i was leading the race from Tristan. The gap at the begining was small as we were going with the similar pace. Then i saw Tristan spining and the gap increase to around 8 sec.
Before my pitstop my tires were okay so i decide to stay with the old one and as soon as i came back on the track i realize that it was mistake. I had around 18 sec gap over Tristan but he was catching me very fast plus my tires were warm and my car was very slow. It was only matter of time until he catch me so i was only hoping that this race will ends before that. Unfortunetly he arrived 2 min before the end and i lost my lead very quickly as i was so slow and i couldnt even defend my position. Great drive Tristan!!!
I want to apologise again to Garret for that contact i really was thinking that you saw me but again sorry!

Really struggling at this track this season and it showed tonight starting with a pretty weak wet qual session.

Starting from 3rd I had a decent enough start passing Tristan into T1, but I expected that since he was in teh BiTurbo. So when we went into T3 he was already caught up and I knew he was a lot faster so I gave him plenty of room to pass. Trouble is that Barry was able to sneak through as well and that really screwed me up. I tailed Barry for the first 8 or so laps but being in equal cars even though I was faster it just wasn't enough without really putting both of us in danger. At one point Garry was gaining on us and I was getting really frustrated.

Finally Garry and I opened up some gap to Garry from traffic but then I got too loose out of the hill section and spun, rejoining in 5th behind Garry. It only took me 2 laps to recatch Garry and I was on my in lap so I caught him in the final turn before the pit in and I just drove that turn harder. At the time it appeared that Garry decided late to pit, I dunno, bottom line, I had a choice of slamming Garry or going to grass. Hit the wall and took enough damage for the crew to tell me to wait for the safety crew. But the car was running and I drove to the pit stall to get my service. My crew was done with the tires when Garry's car lifted so his crew could do tires so I was confident about making the pass. But my crew wasn't done and after another minute or so sitting there they told me there was a suspension failure and I esc'd.

So yet another in a string of really poor results for me. Getting to the point where I think I just need to take a lengthy break, after all I have a lot of home remodel projects I am in the middle of that is always in the back of my mind everytime I take the track.
