Holly $&#* again? I guess the name of the game is just stay on track. I can’t believe I got 3rd with the times I was running. Had a ton of fun running in some great battles with Mircea and especially with Sheldon. Great racing guys! It did look a bit like some drivers just came from happy hour though. Wild stuff. Congrats to Kent & Johnny and the rest on a real fun race. Thanks again Sheldon for the close & clean racing and I’ll see you tomorrow at Sears Point! Till next race…

Didn't have very high expectations for this event after the G4 race Wednesday. Fortunately the later start gave me some time to prepare. I tried the Seat and was doing decent laps then got the Biturbo and was immediately faster.

Qual: I left the pit early with the crowd something I normally do not do, but most of hte crowd was G3 cars so I took the liberty of passing them on the out lap. Lap 3 was money with a 1:12.7 and pole. I came back to the pits on empty and saw I had plenty of time for a flyer. I let it all hang out and managed to beat my pole time.

Spun the tires a lot on the start but luckily I had Barry inside and he gave me the corner. I really took lap 1 easy and still slid through most of the apexes. By lap 3 I had a good 1.5 second lead and started pushing the car and soon had 4 seconds when I started encountering some traffic. By the time I pitted I had about 23 seconds.

After the stops it seemed like I couldn't do a entire lap without lapped cars and some of those G3 cars where really unpredictable. Guys read the rules and hold your line. While I appreciate the effort of your moving over, you need to do it either earlier or dont do it at all.

Drove a pretty decent race for the win.

That turned out to be a fun race.

Q'd 2nd and with a pretty good start we headed into turn 1 with Kent ease'nr down I let him go knowing he was faster tonight in his Porsche and he didn't let me down damn it.
Good run and a great pace.

From there I just tried to stay on the track and managed to pull a little gap on 3rd and 4th place before pitting. Had some trouble in the pits that cost me a ton of time and came back out in 11th place. As the pit stops rolled through I found myself in 3rd place with GP in 2nd and Mark Carty on my 6. For the whole second halve of the race he and I battled and battled hard. With both of us on old tires (at least I was) we were scrapping at every corner for traction to try and get a run on each other, we were even side by side a couple of times through some turns, we bothran out of fuel on the last lap. Great fun Mark and some clean driving.

I'd like to say that for me the traffic was pretty darn good. Thanks.

Well crap, In qualify on the first lap had problems with the gas pedal and all but stopped, i tried to get off track but it was to late someone slammed into me, sorry whoever it was.

It felt like i brought a knife to a gun fight, car didnt feel anything like it did in practice and had no power at all. blah

Congrats to Kent and JohnnyG on his first first, I should have tried to kick you tonight haha =P Congrats to the rest of the podium as well.

Might as well call this race the Porsche vs BMW super cup.

I was running 1st in G3 with 1 to go but I was 1 lap short on fuel. I had a full tank @ the start too.Had to pit & lost 4 places.I think Gregg & I were the only G3's to run out out of gas.

I put it off the track in T1 Lap one so I was starting from the rear, I started putting in some pretty good lap times and running down the field and worked my way I believe up to 3rd in class at one point. Some Great battles with Charlie, but I went off track one too many times and had to settle for 7th. I should have went for the hard tires instead of the mediums, because for the last 4 or 5 laps I basically had no wear bar left on the my rears and it was like racing on ice. Sorry to the G2 BMW that I pushed off track in T1, but that was a pretty bold move to cut over right at the brake point and I had no where to go but plow the rear of your car.

Well, good driving on everyones part. Feels real good to win my first race. I could get use to this. Had no issues really. Noticed some people were having problems up front and that gave me the lead. 2 cars pitted and 1 car was knock off course do to a G2 car giving him a fender tug.

last lap, I noticed a few cars stranded on the side of the road probably do to no fuel. Felt bad. Running a whole race then crapping out do to fuel, not cool.

Other than that, the car held up pretty good
