GTN: Estoril

Well done all, and David, Jussi and Adam! Nice race everyone. Too many mistakes from my part, but I had some good moments. Took 7th when I pressured Roman into an error since I couldn't get past on speed alone. Made a 5 or 6 second gap and caught Claudiu. Closed up, mistake, start again, closed up, mistake, etc. Nudged Claudiu in T5, waited to let him back. Then gave back 7th to Roman on the very last lap when I was trying to press Claudiu into a last lap mistake and made my own. Spun out in T1. Toh!!!
Gotta make less mistakes.
Well done to all again!!

First win here @ R2P :)

Qualy wasn`t as special as it should`ve been, had a house full of screaming kids (my sons birthday party) and lost the opportunity for Pole when i got distracted whilst i was on a good lap :P also don`t know if it`s because i went out first but my pc ran terrible through qualy!! but can`t really complain stuck it on the the front row just behind Adam with one of his special laps :) nice one ;)

Got a good start and was alongside Adam then lost a position to Mikko on T1 then hounded him until i got past, i knew i had to keep with Adam if i had any chance of taking victory, got past Mikko with a daring outbraking manouvre into T1 probably the only place to overtake here and once there i sat behind Adam for a good 20 mins then made the same move when i saw enough of a chance and held the lead until the pitstops, made mine at the 40 minute mark and Adam a lap later, mine was perfection just on the limiter at the correct moment and fueled perfectly - got a clean getaway pushed like crazy on cold tyres knowing if he was infront it would be very hard to pass him - came around to see him +14s and for a lap i thought that`s it! but he played the same trick on me as i pulled at Birmingham :P then had 15minutes to really push and try to retake him which i did with about the 5 minutes left, and just cruised to the finish (yeah right) he still never gave up :P never were me and Adam more than 1.5 away from each other really good driving and pushed one another really hard so much that we lapped everyone upto 4th! it was wierd being the lapper and not the one looking in the mirrors for faster cars :P
Shame he had to pit for a few litres of fuel a very worthy 2nd place gone:(

Big thanks to everyone that moved out the way and sorry for the headlights - i had Adam right on my arse for most of the race and didn`t want anything taking away my first win :P

This win is for Andy, someone i`ve known for years through thick and thin :) It`s great to be part of a great team too ;)

Hate this. There were 8 guys on waiting list and 16 guys raced. Why don't people unregister and let others play instead. :(

I was turning so hard that MY PC almost fell off the desk.
that's when the game froze up and quit on me.

I did try to get out of everyones way just didn't work out to be the case every time.

I couldn't see crap til I hit the look back button and it messed me up more.

Quali was good, kinda surprised by my first attempt as I was stuck behind a couple of slower cars for the last 3rd of the lap but that would have got me pole outright. But 2nd attempt was better even though I again lost time behind a car in Turn 2, so I think I didn't really maximise the laptime.

Race, good start, was pacing myself really and DB stuck with me. He then got me at Turn 1, which I was completly defenseless against with my brake bias set way too forward but no buttons assigned to change it (mental note, assign some). But I managed to stick with DB until he pitted, so I went for a fast in-lap unfortunatly was slow due to a spinner infront. Didn't change the tyres and came out ahead by about 15 seconds but the tyres were really shot so DB got me by about 1.5 per lap and in the end creamed me on the outside mid-lap. At this point I settled for sticking close but 3 mins to go I get the fuel warning and gutted, I had to pit with 1 lap to go. Really novice error on my part, but im learning alot with each race.

Can't take anything away from David though, he had great pace throughout and I noticed this in practice. I have alot to thank him for really because I had settled for 35's for this race but seeing his pace in practice forced me to up my game and we had a great battle. Very well done mate, enjoyed it even though I missed my football because of it :P

Yeah as Kovas said we have 28 or so signed up then about 14 for the race leaving out people who could`ve started :( maybe a penalty system should be in place for the one who consistently miss events.

Not enough practice for me. My best time was still 7sec
off the pace. I almost pulled out of this but decided it would do me some good to race. Maybe it did maybe it didnt, with my B-day on friday im still in a crown royal haze haha

Bill stick with it, sucking at something never stopped me. Have fun man!

Ohh and TnT will move repeat no shows onto the waiting list if there is one, ive been seeing the same thing going on in Fabcar. Like %25 no shows, we did start with 16 btw

Estoril - not my favorite track. I always seem to keep sliding sideways in the corners, just can't seem to find enough grip.

I got to much wheel spin at the start as I changed to 2nd, and I went off, dropped to 14th. Had a nice battle with Dan. After slipstreaming him down the straight, he gave me enough room at T1 when I was on the inside of him, but a couple of laps later I passed Nuno down the straight, and we had a coming together at T1.

I was also the car that Bill collected when he went all over the place coming onto the straight. Don't worry Bill, you didn't do it on purpose, and please don't stop having fun. Stay on the racing line, it's a bit easier than trying to get out the way of other cars.

Adam gave me a little nudge while lapping me (Sorry Adam, I didn't see you), and I must also appoligise to Dan, who I nudget lightly into a spin at T3, I really didn't mean it.

So not my greatest race, just happy to finish, as well as in the top 10.

Well done David, on your first win. I guess you are not a novice anymore. lol
