ICS: Atlanta

Awesome race for me...for about 65 laps. I almost had the entire field lapped. Then I lost focus for a half a second and spun, letting Omar and Danny get back on the lead lap.

No problem, I did it before, I can do it again...right?

About 7 laps into the next green run, the three of us were racing, I had a run on Omar and based upon exchanges between us (and others before) I chose not to lift. Another spin insued...this one taking me out for a while.

Championship win none the less, but to me it wasn't a true win as Fridley and Francesco should have been racing too.

I limped around to finish the race and then non-verbally voice my displeasure with Omar.

After looking at the replay, Omar did give me room and not pinch me like I thought he did causing the spin. However, "room" is a subjective word, it could have been alot more.

I would like to apologize to Omar for our discussion after the race, I was out of line for it. Sometimes it looks alot different from in the car.

None the less, it was a good showing for JR Motorsports as myself and Danny were hands down the class of the field before separate incidents doomed us.

Overall this season had its ups and downs...but we will go again with the new physics. It felt like looking at the field today, it was more representative of what we see on TV...long strung out fields.

I will be working on finishing the mod with Mike and the guys as well as planning our next season. I hope everyone comes back and brings people with them.

I also want to thank William for his help and support throughout the season, it made it a lot easier for all of us.

To bad I got crunched into the wall at the start of the race. I think I would had a good shot for top 3. I was not happy it happened but I forget quickly.;)

WOW. I managed to get a good line by two major crashes in the 1st 10 laps of the race. I picked a line and drove under two cars in the air lol. I was happy they were airbourne.

I got screwed up about the 85 speed limited on the caution. I really didn't know if it was Kph or Mph. I drive in kilometres and when William told me to drive at 85 I thought I was speeding so I dropped to 85 kph lol. I have to convert this and find out what 85 mph is.

I am very happy to finish 4th. I think once I have a few more laps with these cars I may have good results in the standings in the next series. I am hoping.

Well I qualified last due to some very stupid spins but oh well its a circle track.

Got a good start and went from 11th to 4th and then we had some cautions. After we started to run green for a while I noticed unless I was right on someone I could not keep pace with them. I got some damage early and repaired it but it must not of all the way. I ran alot of 25.9's and I practiced the same setup at 25.2/25.1 not as fast as the fast guys but 7 tenths is alot. Anyhow the fast guys kept having problems and I moved up to 2nd behind team-mate Omar and had a pretty uneventful race from there, good to finish 1-2 for SI though.

As far as the series it is cool, it would be cooler if you did tracks where it isnt wide open all the time and maybe some roadcourses.

edit: It says I won right now and Omars name is no-where on the list.

Unfortunately, a business meeting carried on well into the night and I could not attend this race, which gutted me.

Team & Driver Championship results are incorrect as there's still some points to be added, plus my win...I'll wait until the results are corrected to reply regarding post-race. :)

Are they corrected? I would like to begin handing out the champagne.... :)

lol...Nope m8...They're not yet...By my counts Team results are not correct, so Team Champ is still undecided, but because we can't longer wait, we decided to open and drink the champagne! :P

This has been a nice championship!

Still waiting for those team results to be fixed, in the meantime we're going to keep drinking... :D
