Some how my time setting for R2P got changed and I thought the race was at 3:30 - bummer

Race was fun! Started from back and got into 2nd with Pete waaay infront. Then pitted for 4 tires and it takes only 7sec :o.

Could then catch Pete but could not overtake him without bumping him hehe.. It was fun racing you! :)

Congratulations on the podium to the moron who punts others from behind and cuts chicanes to get results. Since it wasn't lap 1 you can claim it as a "racing incident" so you don't have to worry about penalties.

This punt rule only on lap 1 really stupid. What's to stop some from punting people out of the way after lap 1 to "overtake?" Been happening far too often @ R2P by experienced drivers lately.

There s been some Kamikazeeeeeee driver at 2nd posstion around lap 10-11 also. Somehow he missed me in that last chicane when i got infront of him on straight

Great race, got a bit confused with the pit stop, was looking at a distance marker to stop at and forgot to select my pre set. Took tyres only and got back out. Caught Charles on the last lap, thought he'd had a puncture as we went through the chicane as loads of sparks flew off his front. Tried to take him on the outside going through the final corner, was a great run to the line and Charles just pipped me. Check the replay, friggin awesome.

Unfortunate, Pete. I think that carrying the mandatory punt rule beyond lap 1 would be too much though. There really are some honest racing incidents at times. It's rare, also, but there are times when the guy who gets punted could be at fault. For instance, I was racing at Barcelona or Montreal and at the end of the long straight I was on the left side of the track with a car in the lane immediately to my right. As we approached the turn, he was inches ahead of my car but remained in his own lane, which was nice because I knew I wouldn't have to worry about his earlier brake. Then suddenly he turned his car into my lane and slammed on the brakes at the same time (much earlier than I would be braking in my porsche) and this obviously caused my right front to connect with his rear-left. I was able to react quickly enough to keep either of us from getting totaled, but it was a stupid thing for him to do and, by the letter of the law, I would be required to serve a drivethrough for it. Obviously not how it should be.

If you feel a driver is being too aggressive and punting after the first lap, you need to protest it. Everyone seems to think that little things should just be left alone and only protest really serious infractions, but I am not sure that's the best way to handle it. If you protest a punt after lap 1, the worst that will come of it is the steward reviews it and doesn't feel that it is worth a post-race penalty, but you can be certain the other driver will be made aware to be more careful. And that's good, because maybe they keep it in mind next time. I think that perhaps one of the biggest reasons people don't want to protest things which maybe should be protested is because they don't want to look like an asshole and they don't want the offending driver to treat them as such for protesting the action. I have no solution for that. I personally can only recall protesting once for a really really serious incident, but I know I have let many incidents go because they just weren't big enough.

I got someone in T1 Lap 1. I was trying to remember if I took enough fuel for the 1st stint, then finally woke up but not until I lost my way. Sorry.

Went to grid before race, pressed ESC and couldn't return to track, I tought this was like rFactor lol

Sometimes it could be the guy in front doing something like pulling in front of you at the last second. I didn't want o falsely accuse anybody so I revisited the replay and he was a second back and decides to dive bomb the corner. There was no reason why it needed to happen.

Looking at his reponse, he doesn't deny the fact that he uses this tactic to overtake people. Classless.

I know with the field spread out in road racing, it's a bit difficult to observe everything but I'm not sure how to protest this (not that I would. It's just "fun" run.). There's nothing in the rules.

This has been going on for a while. I had another experienced driver punt me out of a race and I get a PM like this: Sorry you braked a little earlier than me but I've been punted off so many times that it's all even. :( That's why I've been so weary of some of the things going on here.
