GTR Evo fun run

Very, very disappointing race. When qual begun I started to have some graphics problems - turning off hud helped a bit so I managed to do 2 or 3 laps and then rebooted my PC. Reconnected to server right on time as race was just beginning. I jumped into grid and...what a surprise - 5th time in qual...1st row on grid :) I think there's some server setting to reverse the grid or something like that. It didn'tr really matter as right after the start my PC started showing me slideshow instead of nice and smooth animation required to safely navigate through T1. I landed head-on in a barrier and lost front wing. With that major change in aerodynamics my car decided it wants to fly now...what can I say - having both front wheels 2m above the ground as you approach a corner at 200 km/h isn't good idea. My race lasted 60 seconds :)

I want another Nordschleife event!

Hmm..Don't know where to begin.
The good: I'm pleased that I can finally a couple of laps on this track without crashing :-)
The bad: this game is buggy as f*ck ..I had a good fight going for 2nd place. But it's impossible to pass so I decided to pit and get new tires. Problem was that we all pitted at the same time. What a mess..LOL.
Then on the next lap while going down the last straight my screen went black and it said 'synchronizing game' . I panicked and ALT-TAB'ed out and back in. Only to find myself crashing into a barrier. Limped back to pit. Then suddenly I get the checkered flag and I can't go back out on the track ? WTF.
What a disappointment :-( I was having lots of fun in the Saleen and I really like the handling in EVO. But I guess the netcode is just as buggy as always..oh well..

Bollocks Bollocks and more bollocks I fell asleep and missed my fist GTR Evo race at the NORDY!!!!!

Tomas, I noticed your car was warping around a little during the start. Sorry to hear about your short race. Could have used more participants.

I have no idea what happened to me in the pits. I pulled up to my spot and no service was done for a minute. I noticed the pit menu showed confirm but what am I supposed to press??? All I saw a countdown timer and after a while the pit crew started to work on my car.

Be careful with the inside curbing of the carousel. I hit that during practice and was flipped upside down. During the race Dwayne was about a second ahead of me and he hit the curb sending his car high up into the air. Almost had his car land on me.

Chris, even though we had few participants, the track is beautiful and very satisfying to drive (if one doesn't crash in one of the blind corners).

One more thing, why were the Pro & Sport races run separately? It was a very lonely race for everybody.

Very interesting first trip out at the "green Hell". First lap picked up a puncture, 2nd lap walloped the barrier and limped round with aero and suspension problems, 3rd lap picked up another puncture after yet another off track moment.......I decided to retire at this moment, not wanting to ruin anyone elses race being the cause of an off! I have to say though the few moments where I got it right were great and this circuit really does look graphically stunning....see you at the next hellish event:)

I had a very fun race either chasing or being chased by Nick Phillips. I don`t think we ever got out of sight of each other until the very end when he ran out of gas. I hit the barrier about 4 times. Twice I hit pretty hard and thought surely I`m done but I managed to hit paralel with the barrier and car still felt ok. A couple of other times I totally cut a chicane , not on purpose of course, but because I just got it completely wrong. That track definately demands all of your attention or it will hurt you. All in all it was a great day to qualify 3rd and finish 2nd in class for a guy who usually only knows how to turn left.

Funrace, with 5 of us in a nice train for the first lap with some spot swapping. Lap 2 I started smashing my car up and overdriving so used up my tires, practiced the pitdstop then quit. It was a fun run thats for sure, then it was nice to watch the rest.

Yep great battle Larry, shame the fuel calculation in game caught me out but when it says enough for 9 laps round here, you would at least expect to do 8 given the length of track but hey.

Certainly could not shake eachother off and great fun, obviously a few corners have changed from previous versions but was definately fun.
