Beat the Domers - @ Road America

First, Sorry Barrett for wrecking your race. I panicked, had a quick glance Left and thought I could get off the track before you got there. Very sorry It wont happen again, I'll stay put.

Thought it was a good race had a few offings but nothing big. Miscalculated on the fuel but i think a few others did to.

Well this race is typical of my struggle with anything rFactor related. I would cruisealong just fine and suddenly I would enter a turn and the brakes lock up, or like on the first lap I come out of a turn at slow speed and start to pick up speed and the back end breaks lose and I spin. I simply have no 'connection' with the car in the sim. Ultimately I need to apologize to Johnny - I used the look back to see who was behind me and in the second or two the car drifted off the road, into the grass, back across the track and into a turning JG. I enjoy racing with you guys but I cannot do rF anymore.

Congrats to the podium. Probably a great race for some but not here. Couldn't get it together - was averaging 2:20's in practice before tonight but couldn't break 2:21 when it counted. On the starting line my engine turned off without me knowing :( I watched everybody leave without me as I struggled to find that damn starter button. Uneventful race, a couple of mistakes but thankfully I managed to finish the race:)

Had company a bit late last night and couldnt run. Catch yas next event.

Uneventful first stint for me, was hanging on to the very end of the lead group in 5th spot. Picked up a little damage by whacking Gregg in the nose after he lost the rear at the end of the long straight- I went for the hole on the inside just as he hooked up again and shot into it. Didn't seem to affect the car much. Dunno if it was harder on Gregg, who disappeared a lap later. Tire wear was very light here, so I went without changing during my stop, as most people up front did- except Mike E, I'm guessing? Came back out in 4th and worked the whole 2nd stint to maintain a gap to Jerry, who was closing from behind. Then I was gifted 3rd when Mark disco'd. My fuel warning came up with 1 min to go- had a look at the position bar and saw Kevin was about halfway through a lap, and crossed my fingers... he crossed the line about 5 secs before time ran out, and dammit, I had to squeeze out one more lap with Jerry really breathing down my neck now. I held him off until the car started bucking with only 2 turns to go. Obviously no chance to coast up the hill to the line, so I was sitting there fuming when along comes Johnny, who selflessly pushed me across the line to salvage 5th, rather than just pick the spot up himself. Thanks again Johnny, what a guy!

Mark, we were going to have a nice fight for the win I think. Sorry you got discoed.

Had a great start getting the lead into 1. Unfortunately at the 1st hard braking zone, the combination of cold tires and brakes shot me in the run-off area. By the time I was back on track I was down in 7th or 9th. Passed a few but got alot of gifts with cars who were locking up the rear tires it seemed. Had to dodge them but didn`t have to fight for a few laps to get the positions. Got to 3rd before the pits and was catching up with Mike and Mark battling up front. Then after the pits, I saw Mark go past but no Mike. So i thought this was going to be a 2 man race. But then I lost sight of Mark and knew what was coming. Then Mike was pushing and making up alot of ground. A few more laps and I think you would of got me. My rear tires were sliding pretty bad at the end.

Great race and Off to Mosport. WOOT

I would have done better but I dazed out a couple times and drove to hard into the corners.

I couldn't believe it. The power went out here for about two hours just as I got on the server and ran a few laps in practise. When I got it back on you all had already started :(. Too bad because I love that course. Sey la ve!

Was having a good race, felt confident finishing in the top 5 but I am not having good luck lately with R2P servers, screen just froze on me from the in car view, I don't have the problem in any of my other events or leagues.
Well there was some good racing in the beginning, enjoyed the company of Mike K and I think it was Kevin in the Whalen Vette, good pressure.
