What an awesome race. I'm stoked to finish 3rd and also very happy to finish 3rd overall.

Nobody (well, certainly not me) can match the pace of legend Pete Bunce and when I found myself leading him on lap one I knew it was futile to try and hold him off. On lap 2 Pete went up the inside at T2 and ran too deep so I managed to retake the lead with a switch back on the exit. That's about the most exciting event in my R2P career so far, mixing it up like that with one of this sport's best. Of course it didn't take long until being star struck got the better of me and I fluffed up in the final sector of lap 2 rolling out the red carpet for both Pete and Garret Diduck to breeze by.

From there on I focussed on tyre preservation which helped me later claw back some of a gap behind Garret but only enough to finish 2.7s behind him.

This being my first season at R2P, finishing third in a series is something I can be very pleased about and hope I can improve from here.

Great fun! I am simply overjoyed by my 6th place finish.

I was barely content to find myself 8th on the grid after a rather disappointing qualifying session. Try as I might I just couldn't hook up a lap on the damp track.

My start off the line was clean enough as was turn 1. I liked my track position into the tight second turn and so decided to make a move to get by Tom. I braked late and turned in a bit hot. I managed to keep from locking up but still understeered a bit through the apex down the inside of Tom. He backed off slightly and I kept it together enough on the exit to take the position. Over the next few laps with Tom hot on my tail, we were both gifted a couple of positions by way of others' off track excursions. It was a couple of laps later before the pressure of that Mosler in my mirror finally forced me into an error when I out-braked myself into the tight right-hander mid-way through the lap. Tom easily passed me there and steadily drew out a gap for a few more laps before I decided it wise to stop pushing.

And so I settled for a lonely 6th. With no pressure from behind and no hope to catch those in front I just concentrated on setting clean consistent laps with my deteriorating tires for the latter half of the race.

Another fun race and hugely positive experience overall! Congrats to the podium and to Pete especially for just dominating! It's awesome to see OTHR guys at the top! I'm delighted to be associated with such a successful team.
