Man, just missed the podium. 3rd place finally came down to me and Raphael late in the event. He made a mistake and I drove by, but he was right back on me. I made that Bim as wide as anybody ever could. He made a great move to the outside and basically drove around me. He obviously had taken better care of his rubber, and once he got by, I had nothing to try and get the position back. Grats to Barry, Ryan and Raphael. Looks like another great season is coming up with this mod!

Not my day, couldnt get a clean lap in quali, so i was a full second + off my pace, that dropped me down about 6 pos on the grid.

Someone tapped me very lightly and all the sudden i have suspension problems, Stuffed it into a wall on lap 4, had to limp around the track on 3 wheels, 95 sec in the pits made for a 4 min lap and being down one lap+ on everyone. I was lucky to even finish the race and disappointed with my performance.

Still im looking forward to the next one, these cars are really fun to drive.

Hey Mike - I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you had. I was a little worried about that traffic too during qualifying. It's interesting to note that my fastest lap was my first lap - after that there was just too much traffic to get a clean lap.

The cars are great and the racing was fun. I spent the first half the race trying to stay ahead of Omar and Dennis. After missed a corner around L9 or 10, they got ahead of me and I spent the rest of the race trying to catch them.

I avoided a few spinning cars and the lap traffic did a great job moving over. By the next to last lap, I had caught up with Dennis and we had a great battle to the end. I think we swapped positions twice, all of it very clean. Dennis held on to the position to the end - great job DC!

I had an average start but thru T1 I was on the outside and we just went by 3 or 4 cars. They couldn't wait and pushed hard to get around me and I ended up chasing / being chased by Omar and Eduardo. Each of us would make simple mistakes and back and forth.
Final lap or two with EF was tight but very clean.
Eduardo was very generous, more than any one I raced with.
He could of easily made my race much tougher and me his. But I think in the end we both were in it for the fun, not the money.

Great race everyone these are really fun to drive!

Qualifying went well because I was third but thought I would be able to put down a low 26. Nunes nice time at 25.7!!

Race start went suprisingly well as I got a goo launch which hardly ever happens and I went into T1 side by side with Barry. He got by and I chased him for a few laps with Nunes breathing down my neck occasionally. Couple laps in Barry spun and I got by clean and then had 8 second gap. Barry was gaining on me as I had a few problems with traffic. He was down to 5secs when Tom gogol hit me going into the turn after the back straight. After that Barry was very close and he got by on the next lap in the backstraight. The car still cornered well but didn't do well on the straights so I spent the next few laps trying to make any ground I could Barry and it didnt really work well.

Good win Barry and I hope to see everyone at the next race.

What a night! didn't have too much warm up coming from the GT Sport race just before. Started off pole and with a shady (too much wheel spin) start I managed to make it thru turn 1 side by side with Ryan. Very clean driving Ryan TY. Managed to squeek to the lead for several laps till my brain said to me that I need to drop to 1st gear for some reason and around she came. As soon as it became beyond saving it, my first thought was get out of everybody's way. Tried shifting to reverse while still sliding around so I could back it up to the inside wall. Just got it into reverse when I hit Raphael square in the nose with the side of car. Sorry for the spin everyone :-(

Anyway I gathered my head and took off again in 5th place or something like that and before I knew it I was in 2nd place 9 sec. behind Ryan. He had a bit of trouble with traffic and allowed me to catch back up to him. Heading down the back strait Ryan flashed his lights and let by.

I didn't know why. He was running about the same lap times as me while behind me but after reading his post race I understand now. Brought in home at the point which made me happy.

One thing Ive noticed. You need to conserve the tires heavily. And if you decide to get out of conservation mode for even a half lap, it destroys the tires and all that conserving is wasted. Positions that were getting setup to be passed will now be out of reach.
