...I ended up spinning Steve, who it must be said was also right on this characters butt and had to lift off mid-corner. Steve, apologies, that drive thru wasn't yours to take. At least I tried to get you facing in the right direction again.
I would like to say thanx for a nice race, but alas, I would be lying through my teeth.

Well there was some fireworks in the opening laps of this one.Boyd,it wasn't you that spun me,as I lifted off so as not to get into Claudius' door it induced massive oversteer & I lost it all by myself,although at the time,I thought that I had spun the person in front so I did a drive thru,lol,turned out I didn't so that was a waste of time.

Anywho Boyd also caught the rough end of that debacle which obviously screwed his race & put both us back a fair distance.One to forget I should think,roll on Magny-Cours.

After a disaster of a qualifying for me I had to start dead last.. Took it easy on the first corner as it is a tricky one and because I took it easy I could take some places and was almost right behind David Brown after a few corners.. Tried to follow him but couldn't hold the pace he was doing..

After that I had quite a sloppy race trying too push too hard and I lost both 4th and fifth place due to mistakes.. I had some great fights with Claudiu and Steve.

Finnaly had some fun in the Elise.

Well i quite enjoyed this race as i knew i had a little pace here after 20 mins practise last night.

Quali went quite well P4 and a new PB for me.

Race i got away quite well off the line and kept position and stuck with the front 3 taking 1 place up into the hairpin. 2nd lap (i think) into the hairpin again and i noticed Boyd on the outside of the exit kerb and got a run on him and took 2nd. I could match Borut for pace but just couldnt find those few extra tenths to close him down. Last 5 laps or so i was getting horrid understeer which allowed David to catch up and we had a nice little battle for last 2 laps. Sorry DB later in the champs i might have give it you but not race 2 :P

0.7 off pole put me 6th on a track that was in the 1.47s was proof it was a competitive grid although only 9 showed up :(

hadn`t done any light runs before qualy and i need to fix that as i wasn`t maxing out the braking points.

Race start was great made good momentum but had to back off a fair bit going into T1 and T2 then colin got infront which held me up for a lap or so, and when things settled i found myself in 3rd keeping pace with Borut and Phil for the rest of the race until at the end see Phil just struggling with the front end so i took my chance but he got a good run on the straight and took it back, maybe another lap or so would`ve been different - had a nice little fight until the flag (damn these short races :P )

Got fastest race lap so that was nice, and my tyres were perfect at the end - could`ve easily gone on for another hour with the tyres.

I expect it will be quite a close battle for the remaining races :)
