Apologies to anyone caught up in my PC freezing moments.

Caused my own trouble by punting on Lap 1 then speeding down pit lane, hoped to catch people for a top ten, but each time I did my system froze and I got some VERY wierd graphics, flashing lights, purple track, the lot!

Well this race is just going to need a very short report from me, the only exiting bits were the start were I got slammed in the back and may need to see a doctor for the whiplash ;) I really thought I lost my rear wing there, but luckily after 2 corners I felt it was still on there.

Then I tried to push but that was just for 1 lap as I needed to back of from lap 2 till the end because everytime I got over 6200 RPM the engine started overheating and smoking really bad. So took it easy and cruised the car home, taking care of the engine. Still not knowing how I managed to get into 9th and not dead last though.

Also had some scary moment with Nich who had some real pc issues as I saw him freeze a couple of times in front of me and right behind me.. was about 4 or 5 times I guess, You were way faster then me mate, very unlucky. But no problem on your freezing it didn't cause me loads of problems just scared the shit out of me some times :p

Another race i hardly practised for.

Quali went well and put the car in 5th.

Race was going quite well had a couple of little mistakes but nothing drastic until my chief engineer yells at me " Your engine is overheating" so started short shifting but it wasnt enough and the engine expired as i started lap 10 :(

Oh well this was my last race using Evo will stick with GTR2 now and also starting some openwheel action on Rfactor so no time for a game that i cant get my wheel feeling right on.

Didnt Q. Start was strange... i thought at first its pacelap lol.. :) Didnt push lap1. Lap2 i hit someone in T1 so i decided to drive-thru.

That left me dead last 40sec away from leader. Had a nice fight back and came to 2nd.

Got smacked up the arse going into T1 lap 1 which forced me into Roger, sorry Roger but it was beyond my control. Next corner I get a overheating message which I couldnt believe but short shifted for the rest of the race anyway, tyres were shagged by lap 22 so I didnt bother even trying to fight Janko who seems to be running a different brand and compound to everyone else. Grats to Patrick on his win.

Not a bad race overall, Qualified 2nd Finished 5th. I performed a terrible start. I almost needed someone to tap me on the shoulder and show me that the lights were green! I was third going into T1 but got spun by someone. I probably could have done with leaving a bit more room as insurance since I had the inside line for the next turn anyway (Whilst i'm slightly annoyed at being spun, I consider it a mere racing incident and am instead annoyed at myself for not being wise enough to leave some extra space) I waited for a safe gap and found myself rejoining 12th or 14th... somewhere way down anyway.

Slowly but surely I made my way up the rankings. Trying to stay out of trouble and make much needed passes was wearing on my tyres. I settled into a safe gap in 5th and decided to drive smooth to save tyres. By the last lap I noticed I had somehow gone from about 12s behind 4th place to only 6s and closing fast. I wondered if the 4th place car had a moment and was damaged? I sensed possible injured prey and I decided to risk a 'fast lap' to see if I could catch, pressurise and maybe steal 4th... No chance! Instead I ran wide into the long series of lefts and lost time instead. Oh well, had to give it a go.

Congrats to the podium (results not posted yet + terrible memory so can't name the drivers) I did notice a really impressive fastest lap of 1:25.something. A new lap record anyway because I noted it previously stood at 1:26.2xx. Nice work to that guy! (Edited: it was Patrick)

Of course, I´m really happy with the race.
The qualy went well and I managed to lead by about 5 secs after a few laps. Thinking about some stupid mistakes of mine in the last races I tried to drive safely and consistant. Allen sometimes closed the gap to about 4 secs, but I was pretty happy with my Audi obviously being quite easy to accelerate out of the corners. So, I was rather relaxed when all of a sudden I noticed Janko overtaking Allen and quickly closing the gap to me.
I tried to drive with more risks and push, but my brakes weren´t working really well anymore, probably due to an overheat. Since Janko was so amazingly fast I had serious doubts, if I still could win the race, but luckily finished with only about 1,5 secs in front of Janko.
Overall, a race which Janko should have won, but I don´t mind, that I did. ;-)

Ok good to hear Daniel as I know you were around to take the brunt of my problems.

Strangely I have just done two offline 8 lappers in the middle of a pack and no trouble at all!!!
