Nice race. Coudn't hold Jim any longer for 4th. My Tyres where pretty soon gone!

Because of a stupid mistake by myself I needed to make a drive-thru on lap 1 when in the heat of the moment I typed in qualy.. stupid me..

Just before the start of the race I saw people talking about a wet race and again I was stupid and didn't check the weather before I went to the grid. So I changed the tires to wets and went to the grid. Then I noticed it was DRY and thougt.. wtf, this is going to hurt my race.

I pushed as hard as I could after my drive-thru and was able to get into the low 1.50's before the tires started to wear rapidly and I needed to change them.. after that I was lapping way way faster and was catching up to the top 7... luckily Tom Rue made a mistake and left the race so I could take P7 in the race and climb 1 spot on the standings.

All in all a silly race by me, but the end result isn't too bad but I think a top 4 would have been possible for sure.

I also based my tire selection on the weather reported at warmup, and limped around track

Obviously I am very happy with a win! It wasn't without hard work though. I was sweating at the end! I managed a good start but soon had Allen Cotton on my tail for the first few laps. I felt the pressure until Allen took a minor spin which gave me the breathing space I needed to drive my own race.

From there I had a 9s lead which Allen slowly clawed back to around 5s. I turned it up a bit at that point but I was extra cautious with lapped traffic because I didn't want to end my race by being impatient.

Thanks to everyone for getting out the way. On that note, i bumped someone in the T1 chicane. I can't remember who it was (I leave driver tags off most of the time because it's too much clutter). I know you were trying to get out of the way but it always pays to remain predictable. It appeared that you buttoned off and moved over between the two turns. Whatever happened it took me by surprise and I wasn't quick enough to avoid giving you a tiny nudge. Sorry.

Had a good race with Marcel. Running fourth and on Marcels tail, there was definately a fleeting dream of my first ever podium. However, I just couldnt get past Marcel as he was better accelerating out the corners than I was. After a few laps he graciously moved over, but by then Magnus had stormed past and scuppered my chance of glory. Oh well maybe sometime. Good racing.

sorry about my poor connection, if it hampered anyone more than me im even more sorry. Very difficult following ppl under braking.

Went off at the parabolica on lap 1 and dammaged my car, done another lap before realising my car was to fcked to drive so pitted. Repairs took 45 secs, knuckled down and got up to 6th and nearly 5th but was caught out by my lag issue under braking and lost the chance to pass marcel on the last lap.

Something was seriously wrong with my Saleen. I had some serious stability issues on the straight and it felt like I was on ice exiting and entering the chicanes. I really was fighting with my car on straights. It felt way out of sorts, like my rear wing had fallen off or something.

It wasn't my setup 'cause i used the same one in the practice/qualy. I didn't touch my tires between the dry>wet>dry transitions, so I had slick compounds. Maybe it had something to do with a green track due to wet warmup, and then dry race. Who knows what happened.

Very disappointing...

Colin, you probably cooked your tyres. I had this problem when i pushed too hard in the aston.

I hate the lack of feeling when the tyres get too hot, almost to the point of hating the game itself. There was many times where i braked earlier than my usual braking point but still didnt make the corner. Drives me freakin mad...

I only completed five laps. Maybe I cooked them at the start. I do remember burning out a little bit at the green lights, but no more than I usually do. I'm gonna have look at the replay.
