Great practice, horrendous qualy, then disconnected while waiting on the grid. v_v

I don't think I deserve a DNF, but oh well.

It was like bumper cars out there during both practice and Qualifying. Are there no penalties for that? What's with the blue flag warnings?? I gave faster cars plenty of room to pass without blocking, so I'm miffed as to why I got 2nd blue flag warnings. Shouldn't there be blue flag warnings for blocking only? I didn't block anyone. Had to run off the track a couple of times to avoid the second blue flag warning. That was fun.

Very happy with my results and that I manged to stay in it without my game crashing. Still not really sure how I feel about the sim. After a taste of rFactor net code its hard to go back to anything else.

I saw you disco before green flag so I think that your DNF should be removed from results. Since you qualified right behind me, I am certain that your car was not on grid when race started.

My Race
I love practicing for races at Magny, in the Time Attack mode, my pace was several seconds faster than the pace online... I need to figure out how to emulate my offline pace online!

I had a blast, though I did have a little collision with Gregg when he likely could not see that I was coming, but it did not impact my race...

As in all Simbin products, when you connect to the server your car is invisible to others that are already on track. You do not become visible until they return to the garage.... hence "bumper cars".

Near perfect race from me, drove solid not a spin but almost got sideways once. Survived the first few laps and had a few fun bumps with WHW, we were both trying to be gentlemen and just ended up crawling through a few corners heh. Got a few spots at the end due to attrition and very happy with a 4th! I didn't get tires worn warning.

Not a great race for me. I am not used to racing with full R2P rules in effect, so my first mistake was chatting during qual. Sorry to everyone for sending distracting chat. I served a drive through for it after the start.

Also, I thought there was a rule about running laps during qual while overheating and leaving large steam trails behind your car? I could not get a "clean" qual lap in because I kept getting lost in the fog. :-) Oh well, didn't matter much anyway, because for the 2nd straight race in a row, my game locked up near the end of the race, and then locked up my computer too. This is the second time this has happend, but the first time the game recovered fine after about a minute or so. The screen just freezes, computer doesn't respond, and the sound just kind of sticks to whatever it was playing at the time of the freeze. I am not sure if I need to update video drivers and sound drivers, or maybe remove all the Steam stuff from my system and let Steam reinstall EVO.

Sorry to anyone I may have caused problems for when my game locked up. I think I was approaching the last 3 turns near the pit entrance when it happened, so I hope my car at least continued straight off the track and crashed off track into a flaming fireball of Simbin metal.

Qualified 7th, with quite a slow time - coming across a car streaming smoke in one instance, and two occasions of blatant blocking by slower cars. Got a lovely start and P6 into Grand Courbe (Turn 1). Then got close to P6 (Dwayne Evans) and tucked down into Adelaide at the end of the long straight. I hugged the kerb, Dwayne gave me space - good clean racing. I then tucked in behind Hedrick with Blankenship a little further behind in the Lister. All going fine until a tiny mistake into Imola on lap 4 put me partly in the gravel, but kept momentum and rejoined for Chateau D'Eau, but Blankenship was right behind me out of the turn and took the inside line - we were level going into the kink and so decided to let him take the position rather than risk anything at this stage. Then on lap 7 I got a major freeze of the game - lost 29 seconds and must have been hit several times, got going again in P13 from what had been P6!

Caught up to Tom Rue and drove behind him for lap 8 - good clean lines, I never got the chance for a move despite being quicker at that stage. We crossed the line to start Lap 9 and entered Turn 1 - suddenly Tom brakes, I brake - Greg Mulgrew is rejoining the track ahead but I can't really see as I'm pretty close to Tom's car. He dives left and is nicked by Greg's car (Tom spins into the gravel) but I slam into Greg - losing my front bumper and also damage my front left suspension. A crawl around the track and the stop to fix the damage leads to a lap time of 2m52. Rejoining last but one, I push hard. Again through others problems and some passing I get up to P10 and am chasing Tom - he's 52 seconds down the road but I'm catching by 3 seconds a lap. Push push push. Then with around 10 minutes to go I'm trying to lap a backmarker who refuses to move off the racing line - 1 lap - no joy, next lap I'm way quicker through Imola and move to take the inside for Chateaux D'Eau - but he moves across too and we touch - spinning me around into the gravel. I rejoin and eventually pass when he makes a mistake. Push again, I end up 11 seconds behind Tom but P10 is a good result considering the problems.

Two races and two freezes in Evo have cost me quite badly one way or another. Congrats to the podium and all who finished. No thanks to those who block for no reason at all, especially when being lapped. Smile Andy - it's all fun - isn't it?!

Thats one of the first evo races that i could actually consider fun. Managed to maintain a reasonably consistent laptimes from start to finish which is a first in evo for me!

Qualified 2nd with a decent 1st hotlap, maybe could have gone a few tenths quicker but never got a clean lap in after but probably didnt matter as Garret set a very good pole time.

George got a blinding start and zipped passed me well before we got to t1. After that i just paced myself trying to keep George in sight. Surprised near the end to see George pit and give me back 2nd place. Cruised home to give me my second 2nd place in 2 nights :)

Had a horrible race. My own fault of course. joined the server 10 minutes before the race. Prior to that had only a few laps in. Should have just not raced. During the race i just couldn't settle the rear end at all. I was all over the place and just hope i didn't screw anyone up. Very sorry if so.
