Nurburgring Challenge #1

This is frustrating. Third time in the past four races I've been disco'd. It's demoralizing when you're running solidly in the top 5 and get a DNF over something you can't control. I'm really getting sick of this.

Dont know why i still bother with Evo my fps problems are still there.

Quali put in a PB and took 4th which i didnt expect.

Race got loads of wheelspin off the start and dropped a few places settled down behind Claudio but toched him going into the slow chicane before the final turn. Sorry Claudio.

Anyway did a drive through then just kept driving finished 9th with a car that wasnt handling right.

I had fun in this race. I started dead last because of showing up late and was actually passing people. Last couple of laps was a great battle for 4-6 positions. Starting in the back works well for me as I know for sure I won`t get run into and I can have a good clean race most likely. Too bad I was moved to 4th on the grid for race 2 as I felt like a bowling pin in that one.

My PC just doesn't cut the mustard for Race it seems. It was fine during prac/qual but once the race started it started acting up again. Even with all the graphics stuff turned way down. Funny thing is I was able to race the Evo GTSport race OK, and that was before I turned the graphics way down.

I shall return when I can upgrade my pwr supply. I got a new graphics card but it is underpowered with my old pwr supply.

Fun cars, wish I could have stayed in the race.

After losing my connection in the champcar race i entered this race about 20 mins before qualifying but i couldnt see more than a 15 servers in the lobby and race2play wasnt one of them. Loaded race07 and could see the r2p server ok, but because it was race 07 and not evo i couldnt join. Bloody frustrating, i asked a team mate to try and he had same problem, but it looks like everyone else got in ok.

Brian, it can take a good 2 or 3 minutes for the lobby to load all servers. I just fire it up, then go do something else for a while :)

First time I'd tried out the WTCC's (only bought Evo and never had Race 07 until it came in the Evo bundle). Practiced offline for an hour, then online before the race. And I was second behind Pete! So went into Qualifying quite hopeful. But could only manage 5th due to only 1 clear run early in the session - stuck behind traffic therafter on each lap.

Race start was poor and went down to P7 by the end of the first lap. Eventually worked my way up to 4th at one stage but then two silly errors crept in that led to me going back to 5th and fighting hard to regain it. But in doweing so I outbraked myself on the last lap at the NGK chicane, and managed to demote myself to 6th! Still, happy overall - and it would mean P3 on the grid for Race 2.....

My third time out in the WTCC and started a little better than I did at Monza. I had a bit of an incident early on which put me right to the back with damage. But managed to get back upto 7th with the help of some others having problems.
