was drafting for half the race in that pos and was happy to sit there until the last 10 laps then try a make a move .
it happens to me so many times trying to race clean a get tapped
no excuse for me never done it before

Grats Joe! I was right there with ya until the cars in front of me slowed for whatever reason. I lifted and tried to juke to the outside out of the draft to not plow into Leach, but the car behind me couldnt get slowed up and the accordian effect pushed me into Leach and then into a spin. I should have just rode the spin out, but everytime she came around, I tried to get her to staighten out. Trouble with that is I grenaded the motor.

As far as the BS at the beginning, I prefer we continue on with R2P rules and dont restart an event. I know it sucked hard for alot of guys, and believe me , it's happened to me too. The professionals crash each other on Lap 1 many times in these restrictor plate races, obviously no restarts there. It just about trying to keep it as realistic as possible. Every single event will end up getting restarted since everyone will come to expect it. The agression level in the opening laps will rise if everyone knows a restart is possible. Just my opinion.

First, I apologized over TS but I must do so again: I had a huge crash with my friend Tom Malanga- a man I've raced so many times. I destroyed my car. Despite practicing drafting a lot in practice, I bump-drafted him too heavily and caused him to have to lift and we had a huge one. Sorry Tom-- I heard you over TS saying two minutes earlier that you needed a friend after dropping back and I went back there and I caused your own demise! The worst thing I could have done was eliminating one of my regular friends from Saturday night. On my knees, with the Big Heavy Purple Hat Of Idiothoom I implore you to race next time with me so that I can redeem myself.
Second, at the start I was caught of by surprise and popped in the wrong gear-- I don't know if that caused some mayhem in the back but if I did I apologize again. It just wasn't my night. Pity because I firmly believe I could have pushed my mate Fay to victory (he is resplendent in Dega Garb, King Of Alabama). Having said that, what a joy to see Joe Di Pino on top of the charts when I logged in this morning. As a fellow Linguine Knight Of The Porked Wheel, it is fantastic to see him on top of his roof spraying his mechanics with some cheap vino.
Third-- I understand there were a lot of new faces there. I agree completely about restarting-- a violent sin in my eyes. I hope that R2P rules are not only followed thoroughly but read and remembered during qualy and race (including no chat and real names).

The racing was a lot of fun and things were going well until the end of lap 35 on the front stretch (not sure if I bump drafted too hard or car in front of me let up...no replay posted.) and a wreck happened. My car was never the same after that and I couldn't keep the draft but luckily finished 5th.

Alot of us got screwed with penalties at start of race and nobody that was running the race knew how to clear them???OK!Thats why nobody finished the race!

I am a nobody and I did finish the race so you are absolutely right.
