Iam not sure who I was Racing out there today but once we got to about the 5th lap Drivers where Great!!
Fighting with the Vette and Stang was Awsome!

Qual was good i was 4th and had perfect start and went to 2nd.

Was great fun following the leader. At the end i was hoping for some great action for 3rd... but i followed a backmarker to get a bit more speed and then he lifted... not blaming him but i had no time to react in time so i crashed into him and spun.

Then just drove till the end into 3rd. Porsche is nice! ;)

Considering I had to take two drive-thru & one pitstop to replace a puncture, finishing 12th is not that bad.

Started from P13 but in the first corner I found myself between Maurice and other mate, and although I slowed to let them go Maurice closed his line to defend position and begun a spin that was completed with my touch => served myself a D/T. Sorry Maurice.

Went back on track P21 and in the small roundabout (T2) I was going to take the inside but Nuno was coming from the outside way fast, we touched and Nuno spun Maurice, I half span Nuno (he recovered). Sorry Nuno & Maurice.

Was issued a D/T and again back to the last place (P21). When fighting with another mate I crashed a wall and had to pit for new tires 'cause my FL one had a puncture. Again, P21 and only 17 minutes to go.

Then I had the funniest laps of the race: took the P5-P6-P7-P8 train (picture) and kept their pace, even saw two members of that train crash and drop back. Was regaining places from P17 to a final P12.

Janco, sorry for lift off on straight, but my car was pretty damaged, and i realy coudnt handle it on top speed. I saw u at rear mirror, u was pretty far, and i thought that u can avoid me.

Anyway, i began braking too early, and u could hit me right before turn. It could be worth)

No problem Francisco. I got a really bad start and I guess that's the risk with standing starts.

Still wondering what I got a d/t for though. I can't remember punting anyone (or doing anything else incredibly stupid) in the 2.9 laps I completed.

And if it was for the traffic jam my spin caused: What did the steward expect me to do? It was either crashing into the wall probably causing a bigger crash than this one OR turn in to try and keep the damage to a minimum. So, tell me? Which one do you prefer? After I spun I waited until traffic passed to get on my way again. Still I get a d/t for no appearant reason. Bad call there if you ask me.

I'd like to see the replay if anyone has one.

Very congested at the start through turns 1 and 2 and I had to be very careful not to touch the car in front as it slowed to avoid others. Once we got going there was some very good racing between a group of us from about 5th to 10th. There were a few mistakes from everyone especially out of the final turn and by the 2nd half of the race I was up to 6th and pressuring Tom in his Volvo. Had a nice battle with him but got past just in time because Ari was chasing us down in his Volvo. I just had the straight line speed to stay away from the Volvos after that but it got close in a couple of the braking zones.
It was a good race and the Mustang was pretty nice to drive.

it was a fun race for my first ever rfactor and NAGT race on r2p .. although with lots of contacts for which i had to serve a couple of dt penalties
