Hate to say it, but the volvo works on this track as well... Unless you have something as long as Daytona RC / bullrun the volvo will be fastest on most tracks i think.

Sam, this discussion on the Volvo's dominance keeps popping up, but the factual stats do not back it up. They are the "easiest" that is true, but they are also the worst on tires. This is a 50 minute race, so while the Volvo may be able to hotlap well, it will suffer over the course of the race distance, especially through the carousel. Take a look at our previous race, the Volvo does not dominate as much as you think.

You going to make me go whoop all the Volvo's in my Viper again just to prove my point?

Tim: do you have a quick way to query every NAGT event done at R2P so far (including exhibition/indy/official) and show all of the wins by car? That would be an interesting stat to see.

Why only a 20 car field?

Well, not many people seem to like these cars anyways, we can barely get a decent grid in these events.

I had these race-win stats after the first few days of NAGT release (9/5 to be exact): In the Race2Play events we have been running the score (wins) are at Corvette=8, Volvo=6, Porsche=3, Pontiac=3, Cadillac=2, Aston=1, Viper=0, Mustang=0

The Viper has won since, and the Volvo's have not dominated as much as they have in the first couple days. If I get the time today I will look the numbers up.

If anything, it seems the two most un-used or dis-liked cars are the Mustang and Aston. Go figure, as I think they are two of the sexiest cars in NAGT.

I think it is Justin and I with wins in the Porsche? There aren't too many Porsche drivers out there.

You and myself and Fernando Babij at least. Possibly others, but us 3 for certain.

I would have to disagree with you time on that, yes the stats aren't there but look at who's used the volvo. In all my races with the volvo i've been top5, at Sebring i was over 1 second a lap quicker with the volvo than anyone in practice, it would of been the same in the race. I'll take the volvo and see how it goes..

The Volvo for sure isn't the fastest car of the field however it is the most easy to drive fast with.
All other cars, with exception of the Aston, are equal or better but need more time (skill) to be fast with.

If you spent time driving in the car you really like I'm sure you can get it up to the same speed as the Volvo it's just going to take you more time and effort to get there, but I can tell you it's really worth it.

In the last couple of races you dont see so many Volvo's up front anymore, people driving the other cars are getting grips with them better and better and start kicking Volvo ass.

Bare in mind this MOD is very different from the rest and takes some time and effort to understand and get to grips with, but when you get it you will see this is as good as it gets.
