Daytona fun-run

Good times guys!!
Nice win for the 2nd time jimmy.That was some fun racing!
Look at the finish times...Thats good stuff.
if this had been a real race...........I would have taken Daytona Bobs track record and shatterd it with a 47.516 to his 48.255...Fastest lap of the race...O well Fun!!

Yep, total blast. Bunch of us in the 47s. In a long race, 46s are do-able.

I thought it kind of sucked. I understand that a big one happened on lap 2 but to do a race restart kind of killed it for me. I was damaged on the second start of the race by someone in the wall and one of your GLR guys forcing his way through. I didn't ask for a restart.
It doesn't matter really. Just venting a bit.

No problem Anthony...vent away. I tried to help you during practice because I kinda figured that might happen. The plate races with GLR can get rough. But it happens the other way also: Senor Malanga got into me. Next time, Anthony, ask for a setup. You can handle the track just fine; when we worked together during practice, you were good. I didnt send you one on my own because I was concerned you would think I was condescending to you. You are welcome to run with us anytime you want on the GLR server.

I hear ya Joe. And my post was NOT meant to be a poke at the GTL guys. I guess my "forcing his way through" was a little harsh and I apologize for that. I believe my setup was okay as I was doing okay in the first run. Wasn't really long enough to tell though and I was damaged early in the second after the restart. If it wasn't for Tom Gogol, I would of left early. We had an interesting race just the 2 of us.

I called for the restart.It's a fun run.No need for Jim to sit out after 2 laps. Anthony, I hit the out side wall after the start. Then hit it a 2nd time racing with you.It was still a blast. I love racing with GLR guys good old racing like the old days of Dale SR.A little bump here an there an you learn to set up car better.So much can be learned just running behind these guys.We should have a fun run once a week with GLR. Or make a series out of it R2P against GLR.

I was willing to sit it out & watch the race, but it gave me some much-needed practice.
Looks like I will have to ask for a setup next time, seemed to lose the draft way too easy & two cars will never catch six cars. ;)
