I saw that Pablo, but I know it was just an incident... I was just right behind, and for what I saw there was a fellow GT car on the left and the 2 Fabcars in front were fighting for 2nd. Place, trying to squeeze between you and the other driver...

Too many spins for me, damaged the car quite early...Sorry to B. Harrell, I tapped him and spun him around. The rest was fun... This is fun, but I know I made mistakes and will correct them for the series...

great race everybody!!! sorry to the nagt guys if i may have been a bit in a hurry sometimes to pass, we had a great battle, but somehow, i feel i was never at the right spot to pass :)bad luck i guess... very happy, 2 fabcar with great results in 2 days :o)

Some good racing. Got a good start and was running 6th for a while then missed my braking point for the chicane then got collected by Fernando. Limped back to the pits and changed to a 2 stop strategy. Put on soft tyres for a quick 10 lap stint where I made up quite a bit of time then back into pits for stock tyres and fuel till the end. Managed to make it back into the top 10 so happy with that.

Very fun race even thought I got bumped in the first lap and found myself driving at the end of the pack. Had some great battles there while trying to get my position back. I don't know if it was just me but I was experiencing some lag at beginning of the race. That actually had an effect on my overtaking attempts but luckily it settled up later.

Congrats podium guys in both classes!

Too bad I was out house hunting. It looks like my performance would have put me in top 3. Hopefully there will be another opportunity at Watkins Glen in the future.

Got to work with Tims excelent setup delevloper most of the day to try and get the Aston handling somewhere that I liked, and was pretty pleased with the end result.

Qualiy was great fun. Was looking like Tim would be my closet competitor during practice, and has luck would have it I followed him down pitlane for our qualiy laps. After our first flying laps I was in pole .001 of a second infront of Tim. Tim did the right thing and pitted after 3 laps where as I stayed out which meant I couldn't get another run on fresh tyres, so I knew Tim was still in with a chance. Unlucky for Tim though he caught some slower guys in the final turns which gave me pole for the race.

Start was awful, I got away great but a fabcar a couple of rows ahead was very slow off the line. I daren't swerve round it incase someone was alongside so I lifted and got gobbled up by 5 or 6 NGAT's. Half way round the first lap though I was back to 3rd in class after 3 cars had a bit of a get together. Spotted Tims Mustang in 2nd a little up the road so I set about catching him. After a couple of laps I was on his bumper but couldn't get past, not that I really tried just gave him a few dummy moves to try and distract him. A few laps later though he got it wrong in the chicaine and spun off, handing me 2nd. I could see Pablo's Vette up the road so my concentraiting was now on him. The gap was pretty much staying the same a few laps later but now the fabcars where starting to lap us.

Then it all went wrong. Ryan von Steinen and Gregg Mulgrew where having a huge battle and they where side by side when they past me on the straight between turn 9 and 10. One of them lost the rear on the brakes though in T10 and they touched, spinning them both out. I picked the outside to get by them but one of them rolled infront of me so I had to hit the brakes mid corner to avoid them but that made Daniel Montour run into the back of me, which put me in the wall and the walls at the Glen are damn unforgiving as it killed my engine :(. So I was out after only 15 mins, and I hate getting a DNF :(. No ones fault really but it's still a kick in the balls.

Great fun while it lasted though, the Grand Am series should be great :). Plus at least I've come away with a setup for the Aston :). Grats all :)

Great job everyone... I saw some really good, patient driving out there by both groups. Superb!

As Kieron has already said, I had a chance at the pole but hit some traffic in the final corners. It would have been nice, but not critical to achieve it.

Race start went well with some concern for those slower Fabcars. I saw some swerving to the sides so eased off to let them sort it out before worrying about positions. Pablo snuck right on thru of course, but I was OK with that. Lots of local cautions in the first laps that kept me from really going after Pablo. I wanted him to know that I was not going to challenge at that point so let him have a 1-2 second lead. I knew Kieron was going to be patient as well so the three of us were just burning off the laps when I locked the rears going into the chicane. I thought I was done with, but the car got slowed enough to not hit anything. I dropped a few positions but stayed ahead of Bas until I did the exact same thing the very next lap! Man... 2 spins there and I was lucky enough to get away with them without damage.

After that I just hunkered down to log some laps. By the half-way mark I knew I would be close on tires and fuel to make the distance. I was surprised to see Pablo pit about the half-way mark and with Keiron out I knew I pretty much had the race win as long as tires/fuel made the distance. I began saving fuel (Im always saving tires in these cars) by coasting down the straights into the braking zones. The final 10 minutes, with Pablo DNF'ing, I was able to truly relax and just *make sure* I made it to the checkered.

In the end I had enough fuel for maybe 3 more laps and tires for 5 or 6 more laps. Not too bad considering the spins that just ate the tires up.

Happy to score the Mustang's first win... it drove supreme man. I think I will have to take this car out for some more drives before moving on to whatever other car becomes the under-dog.

Slid into pit road coming out of the final turn on the first lap, so I hit the limiter and just drove down pit road. Field got away from me. Then I spun a few times and just drove a sloppy race...

Then just past half way the engine blew up without notice...
