I think my connection dropped me exactly at the right time. Got disco from server after finish.

3 mins+ till end of the race and finished 1 or 2 laps earlier, damn bugs. Normally it would have been 2 more laps till the clock would hit 00:00:00. If I knew that I would have gone for 1 pit :(

Oh yeah I had a crappy start.

This was the first time I raced the lower class, and I really did not enjoy driving the Porsche, won't make that mistake again. My only positive was that my game kept going and I was able to finish.

Hugely disappointed, but 6 weeks away from GTR2 cost me in this race. You see, I remembered to turn ignition off in pits, but forgot after turning it back on that my set up had S as the starter button for the engine. So I was stuck in the pits on a 1 stopper!

I see most other guys 2 stopped, and Brian (winner) 1 stopped. Think I've just lost 5th or 6th here. Never mind.

Start was great, some really nice initial battles AND people giving each other space. The piccy I've added is entering Les Combes from P8 down! No, it isn't a warm up lap - lol.

Struggled all race as I couldn't get rid of Xd list of positions which was covering my rear view mirror. When Barry got close in the first stint, I just couldn't see him at all, so sorry if I caused any issues Barry, as he stayed close behind until a mistake just before he pitted.

Filled the car up with 100 ltrs and mediums all round, and it was nice to drive - could lap consistently though hadn't run the car this heavy before so tippy-toed through Eau Rouge a few times. Nice to drive until last 3 laps of my stint (pitted at end of lap 15) - the tyres were pretty shot and understeering everywhere. As I entered the pits I was showing as P3!!!

And then old age and forgetting how to restart the car took hold. Congrats to all who took part. First time I've driven this car, and I enjoyed it!

Grats on a great win Bri, well deserved after the testing to confirm 1 stop was a goer, I wasnt sure but followed Bri n Maus advice, glad I did.

Only joined this at late notice so just took the first G3 car I could do a lap in, and had a setup for.

With Mikko and Claudio disappearing off in class, myself and Sebi had a decent battle in the latter stages, with my rears just holding on enough to come in third.

Good fun, and good to see three Pinnacle drivers on the podium!

That was unexpected! Fuel and tyres were always going to be tight for a 1 stopper. I new i needed to lap at less than 6.4L a lap to have any chance of making a 1 stop, early on in the race i got involved in racing Phil Perkins which i kept telling myself not to do as it was using to much fuel, kept Phil behind for a few laps but once he made a move i didn't contest it too much. I had a feeling both he and David might be 2 stopping which they duly did.

Finished my 1st stint with 3.8L left in tank, came out in 3rd but soon had Joco chasing me down. Again tried not to get to involved with racing him, held him back for a few laps but I was vunerable all the way through eau rouge and the straight after that as i had less revs and i was short shifting. Joko passed to put me back to 4th but he spun going into the bus stop giving me a 7sce gap, then something else happened as the gap went up to 30secs.

Even when David pitted for his 2nd stop i never even considered a win was possible but was amazed when i saw Cristi had pitted. Crossed the line with 2.5L left!

Had a great couple of races at spa over the last 2 nights.

Got stuck behind a car in qualy so couldn`t unleash my true speed and try for pole, but got 3rd in the dying seconds so not a big problem.

Race got underway well and held 3rd until Cristi got hot on the brakes and run wide at Les combes which put me in 2nd behind Joco and just pushed from then on and surprisingly was able to lap almost as quick then Cristi broke free from Brian i think and gave me a good fight up until my first stop, so with this out the way i just pushed like hell to try and be infront when he made his and it worked out fine with 6s in my pocket but then i lost half of that lapping a few G3s and not long after he was there again giving me a hard time :P tyres were shot after the 15-20 mins stage and had to really dig deep for the last 5 mins of each stint because at this stage i thought we were both fighting for the win....

Then my final stop i managed to take on much less fuel and gunned it again, but a few laps later Cristi pitted and came out 27s ahead :O game over for the win with less than 15 mins remaining even if he was on used tyres??

So i`m in 4th now just waiting for Brian and Allen to pit but the crafty pair managed to conserve the fuel and get to the finish :P

It`s been a fun few events without the pressure of being in a series and having to put loads of practice in :)

Hopefully a few more of these just to fill in time in the coming months :)

The difference between rFactor and GTR2 got me once again. I went in at the end of lap 14 (assuming it was couting laps sompleted) but it turned out to be lap 13. At the last lap I had to pit, losing 5th place to Joco again.

Still happy to finish 6th considering I was stuck in the barrier for 17 seconds at the Busstop chicane at lap 3 or so. Pretty painful having to wait for the field to pass before rejoining.

Congrats to Brian for the win and congrats to Allen and Nick for their podium finishes.

One word : MIZERABIL ! Did not come back after more than 3 months of absence with high hopes .. just wanted a decent place and to finish. Unfortunately, at my first stint DID NOT AKNOWLEDGE where exactly is the pit entry ( the entry was marked with cubes and I thought it closed ) .. so I had to go another lap, with fuel almost running out. Changing early got me with 2.5 litrs just before the busstop, and I was cautiously approaching, when I got hit by Andy from behind and flew right over the fence . Damn ...

LE : that last lap I was offpace ( trying to save fuel ), and endeed I was a bit midtrack, but you had enough space to pass ... you cannot ignore a car just cause it doesn't hold the perfect line. Look ahead and see the striped cubes which ( I though ) deny entry to pitlane. Forget it - after all, if I knew how to pit none of this would've happened.

Hi Mihai - just watched the replay following your comment re me hitting you from behind. From my viewpoint, you had gone wide and quite a bit off track at Blanchimont and had slowed quite a bit - you rejoined in front of me - I was closing fast and moved left to undertake but you moved into the middle of the track as I was right on you - which touched sides, I definitely didn't hit you in the rear. You rolling over the fence was defo a weird game glitch, but if you were entering the pitlane you were too much in the middle of the road on returning to the track. Hope the image clears it up.
