Touring Car Championship

I jumped from 7th to 1st in the first seconds. I leaded the whole race, but it was not an easy win. I knew I had to keep the gap between Pete and me. He was faster than me but he was in the middle of the field so I made a big gap and I simply tried to keep it in the end of the race.

2nd & 1st at Macau (first win with WTCC cars :P), I'm very happy about that and I didn't expect it. These races were very difficult, but fun :)

2nd race was also too bad for me. Again I had to pit due to suspension damage, so last place is all I could get. My pace was far from being any competitive, sorry to anyone I could be slowing down.

I had a decent start but lost some momentum and some spots on the first right when my back end came way around. Things got worse from there for me. I self spun braking into the first, tight left hander. I overshot my braking later in the lap into one of the runoff shoots. Lap 2 and I get caught out by Francisco's (I think it was Francisco) early braking and sent him around. I did a drive-thru and now I'm well over a minute behind the leaders and over 25s behind Gregg in 10th.

I eventually caught Gregg with a couple to go and got by him at the end of the straight. I managed to salvage two 10th place finishes out of the opener. Not a good start, but the WTCC aren't my favorite so we'll see what happens.

After finishing 8th in the first race i was lucky enough to start P1 for the second event. Blew that imediately. Remembering the first start i lit up the tires and got a horrible start. So at the start of the second i let the clutch out easier and almost stalled it. Had 2 or 3 cars get by me before the first turn. Then the fast right approached and i clipped the inside wall gettin damage right off the bat. My own mistakes. Then had Vincent trying to capitalize on another mistake i made. We decided to try to pass me on a very bad turn to do so. So he tapped me right into a retaining wall and i recieved bigtime front end damage. After this i had no top end speed and was getting blown away on the straights. Buti plugged on and managed to salvage a 6th place finish. Very tough tight track and it was quite mentally exhausting. Had the "Your tires are worn" message twice in both races. So i just prayed to get to thye checkers. I expected more from myself and was rather dissappointed with my performance.

Omar i must say bud.... You had me sweating both races. I knew i had so much damage that you were just making me look silly on the straights. But you were very consistent and it made for a tough couple races. But you were very clean and it was quite enjoyable. Looking forward to the next event.

Phewww...That was fun!... I lost about 2 places at the start as my car bogged down and there was nothing I could do... So the chase started and I just kept my car as close as possible to Scott's, tried twice to out-brake him, but it was tough, once I knew I wasn't going to pass him, I moved as close as possible to the right hand side to avoid contact...

That was breathtaking and as Scott said it was very fun and very clean! Superb driving - Thumbs up! ;)...

I had a couple of taps that ended up damaging my front end as well, just like Scott, but I tried to make up in Sector 2 and 3 as Sector was slow because I had lost top speed and HP and my engine suffered the consequences, after the contacts with the wall.

Well, to summarize these 2 races were really, really fun and look forward to the next ones...
