Pole Win and Fast lap...what else could I ask for? Well a decent race pace would be nice, I drove pretty poorly compared to my practice pace. All in all a great result.

I had too many mistakes..Was a bit fast for a TOp 10, but had like 3 low speed spins and in the last race I did a "Stop&Go" instead of a "Drive-Trhu"...I touched Richard, no spin but it was a punt...Sorry...and these races were fun... :)

Tight race. Ran in second position for most of the event and enjoyed 99% of it.

On the last lap I went into that bend at the end of the second straight (Turn 4-ish?) a little too hot, got swervy and went off. Hit wall and re-engineered the front wing. Watched two positions drive away. Fortunately, being last lap I got around before another position was lost and finished fourth.

A poor start to GTR Evo for me...in practive everyone else went off to join the quali session except me, it just didn't move on to the next session. I didn't realise for a while and was left driving around on my own lol.

Joined with 6mins left, didn't do too badly. Then in the race at the start of the second lap... screen freeze and CTD. Probably scared the hell out of Maurice who was behind, sorry if so but not my fault.

There should really be some sort of rule against releasing software before it's finished ;)

fun races. i've been so busy this week i never got a chance to practice so i was a bit off the pace. then after the first race i realized my pedals were on a combined axis since i reinstalled windows last week and forgot the logitech software. DOH

this will be a fun series. can't wait for the next race. i just hope rFactor lets me reinstall for the umpteenth time. ugh

I absolutely love this GTR-EVO/STTC thing-a-magiggy. Terrific stuff, and a terrific set of competitors. Great Formula BMW car, although I think Imola (a track which in its modern, post 94 configuration, I find as exciting as Digestives dipped in tea for dinner) is not particularly suited for them. Every time I approached Tamburello I was reminded of why I usually refuse to race here- I just don't like it! I think the place should be bulldozed down personally.
I messed up qualy, losing it on my good lap and crashing so I escaped and parked it. The race was eventful only because of a great battle with Emilio- who fought very cleanly and very well. I knew I could not hold on to 6th, there is a way you can tell when someone is faster than you and Emilio was definitely faster- sure enough I outbraked myself at the downhill Rivazza (me thinks) went wide and off he went. For a few laps I could keep up with him, losing a few tenths, but then my tires started giving up their souls to the tarmac devils and I'd be done as meatloaf in mommy's oven. Seventh was the best I could. Frankly, after the battle with Emilio, it was all a bit of a bore really, although the car was fun to drive but I was all by myself. One more 45 minute session at Imola was too much to bear, and that combined with the family asking for mid Saturday attention made me miss the second race.

Both of these races wore me out. Very tough racing. I am happy with my driving on the whole. I only made a couple of mistakes. The only major problem was at the start of each race. I had my 1st gear set so long that I lost 4 positions in each race I think. Hopefully more people will show up for the next round. A little disappointed to only see 14 show up for the WC.

This was great fun, Kent was on his own here but Todd, Dennis, Heinz and me had a great scrap, I think I got by H at the start and soon realised that I was defo faster than Todd just needed to find a good spot to pass, easier said than done! Eventually I think Todd realised I was gonna pass him sooner or later and didnt seem to fight the pass going into Tosa, Thanks Todd I thought, floored it coming out and round I went letting Heinz n Dennis passed in the process. Then the battle really began, I could gain a 10th here and there and eventually hauled back up to Dennis, Dennis made a lovely pass on Heinz going into the Tamberello and it seemed like a good place so a couple of laps later I did the same. I tagged onto the back of Dennis and just tried to keep the pressure on, Todd made a mistake putting us 2nd n 3rd which I would have been happy with but I noticed Den was starting to struggle through Villeneuve and I realised if I took the line perfectly I would get him coming out, I think Den realised it too as on the penultimate lap he went in a little hot and lost the back end, thank you I thought now wheres that bloody Kent fella!

Grats to all, this championship is full of great drivers and it was a pleasure to race in your company. Grats to kent on a good win.

Fun race for me. Too bad I totally blew the start and somehow was waiting for "green"... when everyone with more than a monkey's brain knows races start with "red off" LOL.

Anyway lost a place in the start to a slower but pretty consistent driver, Zargani, who was very clean also and I just couldn't pass him because he was making the right choices and not blowing up any corner but being fast enough for me not to out brake him or get a much better exit, I think he was a bit conservative but it was pretty good strategy I was just hoping for him to make one mistake and just as he told in his report he went wide in one corner and I was right behind him so although he didn't completely blew it, it was just enough to surrender the position.

From then on I was consistently driving away from him until in the last laps Dennis did had some kind of trouble and was just 4 secs away... so I burned whatever rubber was left but was unable to get close enough but I hope at least I scared him a bit, ended up 2 secs behind, 6th place.

Too bad I was not able to race the 2nd race, I had to go work in the afternoon.
