Intro to F1 '79 (Euro)

Well that sucked. I couldt see the lights so I heard some others reving their engines so for a split second I did too. But then I saw people still lining up so I quit so I doubt thats why I over heated.

Dont know if I lined up too quick or others took too long but engine blew from sitting too long :(

felt two taps at the rear. dont know what happened. race over lap 1, turn one.

Completely disapointing. I had the radiator set at max and it still cooked on the line. The ambient temp was mid 20's so it wasn't all that hot. All Williams in the top 3 had the same issue. Are we looking at a bug here...what a way to ruin your race. Up at 5am only to retire before the first lap ended. :(

Was not just my engine that blew then.

Went to the inside of the car in front and got stuck on the side of the track revved to get away and it blew.

I was a Williams as well.

Seems that these cars will overheat if you sit still for more then a few seconds. The top couple cars were on the grid WAY before the rest of the field and over-heated because of it.

D'OH. Chosen Arrows just to have fun and 'cause of challenge. I knew everyone would be driving Williams and Ferrari 'cause they fastest, just couldn't make myself drive those too, wouldn't be fun.

Anyway quali wasn't so bad, 1:10.7 in Arrows is not bad although 1:10 flat was possible hadn't I goofed up 3rd lap 2 times. P6

Race started, and to my surprise I was in the lead, that lasted 2 laps, until I made stupid mistake going into Esses (brilliant corner). Car was stuck on the edge :( by the time I got out engine expired. :(

I had radiator on 2 and my engine didn't overheat. :)

Note to self .... need to keep an eye on the temp guage :)

Oh well, thats racing .....

Stats so far, one race one DNF. I can only get better :)

Was a fun race for me. I saw all the cars infront of me starting to billow white smoke so I knew you guys where in trouble. A reason not to pick the williams:) My Brabham worked flawlessly durring the race and I only spun once. Was fun thanks R2P

Well that was interesting, qualy'd 5th, warmed the tires well only to take the green with a yellow symbol and a over heating issue, completely missed the green, confused by all the fuss, but none to fail i seen water coming out of everybody else in front of me, i held on and drove it till it blew and it didn't, got to lap 6 hit the apex and the curb sent my car into a spin, touched the wall bent the suspension, i guess these cars don't like curbs the way GTR does. I am looking forward to more testing with the viscious cars.
