ILMS: Silverstone

Why was Lienz chosen? I mean, running LMP cars at this style of track is, sry, but just stupid. The cars are so unsuited its incredible. I have an extra hard time just keeping the thing on the road, cant imagine how some of the slower, less experienced guys are doing.
I'm always in for a challenge once in a while, but this is not just a challenge. Its not even a race. Its survival. Whoever keeps it on the road, wins. There'll be no close quarter racing, the risk is just way too high. Theres absolutely nowhere to pass either.
I'd change the track to something else on the spot if I had the decision making powers cause the DNF rate will be through the roof.

I like Lienz alot, from climbing the hill through its switchbacks to flying down the hill back into town it is all fun for me. That is if you are in the right cars, I don't know that these cars will be a pain through testing but I suspect what Jan says will be true. It will be very tough passing everywhere but especially the mountain top area. I always like a challenge, but with all three classes having no more than 6 points between the top 2 and close point battles throughout the fields I would hate to see anyone's race or maybe season decided by going off a cliff this late in the season.

If we race Lienz so be it I will race at 8/10ths instead of 9 I suppose and be extra careful but if we switch I think it could bring better competition and lower amount of DNF's.

If we switch I think Miller (full course) would be fun, Road Atlanta if there is a good version, or MoSport. All I think would suite these especially well since they are all on the ALMS schedule :)

If the LMPs repect the others (GTs), it will be a good race.
But I know that it is not true.
In the last race, only 1 LMP punt me 6 time. (yes its true)

In this track maybe I will be punt 30 times or more.

Can I go with a Subaru?

I've driven a few laps practice and I quite like it, mainly because it's unusual. It seems pretty mad blasting around bumpy roads in the prototype, then sliding over cobbles among houses.

If we race here, i'm sure i'll enjoy it but if it gets changed to one of the others that Ryan mentioned, i'll enjoy that too. I like this series and any of these choices will be a new track for me. How about one of the street circuits like Long beach or St Petersburg? I'm not afraid of a few walls... Or mountians, bridges and shopping streets for that matter. At least it doesn't have a railway crossing or a draw bridge.
